Greetings Holozing friends. It's been a while since I shared with you some of my game-inspired sculptures. Well, I recently managed to finish one that I had been working on for a while.

It took me a while to do it but finally here it is, a small sculpture of the lovely Chirple.

Saludos amigos de Holozing. Hace un tiempo que no compartía con ustedes algunas de mis esculturas inspiradas en el juego. Pues bien, hace poco logré terminar una en la que tenía un tiempo trabajando.

Me costó hacerla pero finalmente aquí está, una pequeña escultura el encantador Chirple.

Step by step

As always, I like to show the creative process of all my sculptures, so today I will also share briefly how I created this small but very cute sculpture of such a nice character.

As you can see, Chirple has a quite charming and dynamic pose, but I wanted to make him leaning on a wooden twig. That's why I prepared the base where I would make the figure with wire and cardboard, as well as thread to hold all the pieces of this skeleton.

Paso a paso

Como siempre, me gusta mostrar el proceso creativo de todas mis esculturas, así que hoy también les compartiré de manera breve cómo fui creando esta pequeña pero muy linda escultura de tan simpático personaje.

Como pueden ver, Chirple tiene una pose bastante encantadora y dinámica, pero yo quería hacerlo apoyado sobre una ramita de madera. Por eso preparé la base donde haría la figura con alambre y cartón, además de hilo para sujetar todas las piezas de este esqueleto.

As you can see in the image below, after the sculpture support dried, I started to cover it with plasticine, specifically I started with the lower part of the figure, using the brown plasticine to make the trunk on which Chirple would be resting.

Como pueden ver en la imagen de abajo, después de que secara el soporte de la escultura, comencé a cubrirla con plastilina, específicamente comencé con al zona inferior de la figura, usando la plastilina marrón para hacer el tronco sobre el cual estaría apoyado Chirple.

I continued covering the rest of the skeleton with fuchsia plasticine for the bird's legs, then I used a lot of white plasticine for the rest of the body.

First I made a vertically elongated sphere for the torso and then a less elongated and slightly smaller sphere for the head.

Continué cubriendo el resto del esqueleto con plastilina fucsia para las patas del ave, luego usé bastante plastilina blanca para el resto del cuerpo.

Primero hice una esfera alargada de manera vertical para el torso y luego una esfera menos alargada y un poco más pequeña para la cabeza.

Since it was a bird, its wings were the ones that should stand out, since they are the great attraction of birds. So I began to cover the metal supports with the green plasticine.

I used a scissors to cut out each of the sections, then used my molding tools to give the correct shape to each piece.

Al ser un ave, sus alas eran las que debían resaltar, pues son el gran atractivo de las aves. Por esto comencé a cubrir los soportes de metal con la plastilina verde.

Usé una tijera para cortar cada una de las secciones, luego usé mis herramientas de moldeado para dar la forma correcta a cada pieza.

I used two shades of green for the wings, a lighter green for the wider part and a darker green for the upper part of the wings.

I made small lines on each wing to simulate the shape of the feathers.

Usé dos tonalidades de verde para las alas, un verde más claro para la parte mas amplia y un verde más oscuro para la parte superior de las alas.

A cada ala le hice pequeñas líneas para simular la forma que tienen las plumas.

I went on to cover the top of the head with green play dough. The character has some feathers sticking out of his head, so I made these pointy shapes on the back, to give little Chirple a little flair.

Continué cubriendo la parte superior de la cabeza con plastilina verde. El personaje tiene algunas plumas que sobresalen de su cabeza, así que le hice estas formas puntiagudas en la parte trasera, para darle un poco de estilo al pequeño Chirple.

I also made its colorful tail with orange and fuchsia plasticine. As I did with the wings, the green plasticine with which I covered the bird's back, I made lines to create that plumage-like shape. I did the same with the colorful tail.

También le hice su colorida cola con plastilina naranja y otra del color fucsia. Al igual como hice con las alas, la plastilina verde con la que cubrí la espalda del ave, le hice líneas para crear esa forma parecida a la de plumaje. Esto también lo hice con la colorida cola.

The last thing I did was to add the eyes, the beak and a feathered topknot that he has in the center of his face, just above the beak. It's part of his charm.

Lo último que hice fue agregar los ojos, el pico y un copete de pluma que tiene en el centro de la cara, justo encima del pico. Es parte de su encanto.
