Hello friends of Hive ♥️ welcome to my blog to show you a new art project I made inspired by some of the characters of the Holozing community, the evolution of the initial fire wolf Infurnal.
The truth is that lately I'm really loving to draw and go a little further and attract me to perform different techniques to make my paintings a little more realistic than I usually used to do, and I'm really liking it, and I think the result shows a lot. Personally I have to say that this fire creature is one of my favorites, simply fire, among many things, can represent power, superiority and majesty, three words that would describe very well the evolution of the alpha Infurnal that unlike its evolution, does not look so imposing and dominant.
Compared to other works that I shared with you previously, this process was less complicated, and as drawing animals or "mythical creatures" 😄 is my favorite part, now as usual I will show you the whole creative process of this painting design hoping you like it.
Materials
- Cardboard square
- Infurnal Creature Drawing Guide
- Acrylic paints (Navy Blue, Black, yellow, red, orange, white, frost)
- Brushes
As in some designs, for the base design I wanted to vary a little, both in color and in some parts of the body, so first I drew the sketch on the sheet and then traced on cardboard, a material that has become my favorite to create pictures and also by doing so we are contributing to recycling haha 😁👍🏻. Once this is done we would move on to the step where we apply the paints, and one of my favorites!
To start drawing, I decided to use dark blue instead of black because I felt that the difference in color tones would not be very noticeable, so in this part I played with navy blue and black tones to create that nice shadow effect of our wolf. Once I completed all the parts with that color I moved on to the next one, the colors that represent fire which are yellow, orange and red, and with them I thought of making a very nice design in the eyes to simulate fire, and I also used a little in some areas to give light and shine effect to the fur.
Now the same colors that I used and combined to apply in the eyes I used for the fire in the background, different types of flames, both in shape and size to create a nice background and especially to highlight the dark color of the wolf, plus this represents very well its element surrounded by fire both merged when a nice show, and their best show under a dark night where the light of the fire and the wolf that is in the center are the protagonists. All these characteristics are the concept that I wanted to recreate with this painting, which I think in the end were very well. 😊
And as my personal touch, to every painting I've done for this community, I like to add that brightness that makes highlight every part of the drawing where I apply it, and in this case I used it in the fire, everything that was red, yellow and orange would have frost 😁, as well as the white areas of his fur and eyes that are a nice and flashy focus of lethal attraction.
And this is how our finished project would look like...a very nice design inspired by the evolution of Holozing's alpha wolf fire Infurnal...I hope you liked my tutorial showing you the whole creative process so if you want you can make your own and add one more to the collection, I bid you farewell and I'll see you next time!💕
