Hello friends of Hive ♥️ welcome to my blog to show you a new art project I have made inspired by some of the characters of the Holozing community. Today I want to share with you a new graphite drawing inspired by the ocean healer, only not for the original design but for a little more realistic one 😁. The difference of this drawing with the rest is that I used a new material... makeup, yes, to make shadows on the skin, eye color, medallion and hair. Although at the end to give him more details I used the usual materials. With much love for you, I hope you like it!
Materials
- Drawing block
- Drawing guide
- Graphite pencil HB 2HB
- Colored pencils and markers
For the sketch, I started with the face, making clear lines and then highlighting to create the shadows with the same graphite.
Once I finished with the face and also the rest of the body, I started to make the shadows, and more details in the eyes, eyelashes, eyebrows, nose and lips. Once I finished that part, I moved on to the hair, here I couldn't do the technique because I only have the graphite, so I left that part to paint it with blue marker and a little bit of makeup.
For this design, I changed some things to have references of the original healer, like her headband of shells and starfish, as well as her earrings and necklace.
The truth is that I would have liked to do this design with acrylic paints because I think it would give more life, although the effect that gives the graphite is also very nice, I hope to gather and buy new paints soon to return with the painting works that are my favorite 😊.
And here you have some pictures of the finished project...a very nice and original design of the ocean healer but in a more realistic graphite version...I hope you liked my tutorial showing you the whole creative process so if you want you can make your own and add one more to the collection, I say goodbye and see you next time!💕.
