Who in their life has not collected something, from their favorite cartoons, movies, accessories of famous singers, even objects that simply catch our attention and we decide to give it a special place on the shelf to admire it. Precisely friends of Hive, I have decided to create so to speak, my own collection of 2D figures of nothing more and nothing less than the game that without making its official launch is already creating expectations and excitement in all Hiver, I speak of Holozing, one which will be inspired by various games of our childhood making it even more special, for those who are not aware of the subject, Holozing is based on a world of creatures which have their own unique characteristics, in this world very soon we will dive and we can be part of this great project.

[Spanish version] ¿Quién en su vida no ha coleccionado algo?, de sus caricaturas favoritas, películas, accesorios de cantantes famosos, incluso objetos que simplemente nos llaman la atención y decidimos darle un lugar especial en la repisa para admirarlo. Precisamente amigos de Hive, he decidido crear por decirlo así, mi propia colección de figuras 2D de nada mas y nada menos que de el juego que sin hacer su lanzamiento oficial ya esta creando expectativas y emoción en todos los Hiver, les hablo de Holozing, uno el cual estará inspirado en diversos juegos de nuestra infancia haciendo aun mas especial, para aquellos que no están enterados del tema, Holozing se basa en un mundo de criaturas las cuales cuentan con sus características propias y únicas, en este mundo muy pronto nos sumergiremos y podremos ser parte de este gran proyecto.

The closest game to Holozing many of my generation know it, so we know the importance of choosing the creatures that we decide to accompany us in our future adventures, I had already shared with you a simple digital drawing of FireWolf, making a small preview of what could be my initial choice 😂, however this time I decided to go further, to take the digital art to a more palpable art which you can admire details more easily, today dear friends of the community and platform in general, I have created my first collectible figure of Holozing and this is the one of MIU, this cat that we will meet on the road in the future, for now this is a way to expose my excitement that I can't wait for the adventure to begin 😍.

[Spanish version] El juego mas cercano a Holozing muchos de mi generación lo conocemos, así que sabemos la importancia de la elección de las criaturas que decidimos nos acompañen en nuestras futuras aventuras, ya les había compartido un sencillo dibujo en digital del FireWolf, haciendo ya un pequeño adelanto del que podría ser mi inicial a escoger 😂, sin embargo en esta oportunidad decidí ir mas allá, llevar el arte digital a un arte mas palpable el cual puedan admirar detalles con mayor facilidad, hoy queridos amigos de comunidad y plataforma en general, he creado mi primera figura coleccionable de Holozing y esta es la de MIU, este gato que ya nos encontraremos en el camino en un futuro, por ahora esta es una forma de exponer mi emoción de que ya no veo la hora en que la aventura comience ya 😍.

For those who know me more personally, I have always liked to collect cards of games and anime series, so the idea of creating the first figure (of many) that I can place perhaps in my work area or an even more special place made me impatient to get down to work, and this process I share it here in case you are encouraged to create yours. Let's get started!

[Spanish version] Para los que me conocen mas personal, siempre me ha gustado coleccionar cartas de juegos y series animes, así que la idea de crear la primera figura (De muchas) que podre colocar quizás en mi zona de trabajo o un lugar aun mas especial me hacia impacientarme por ponerme manos a la obra, y dicho proceso se los comparto por aquí en caso de que se animen a crear el suyo. Comencemos!!!

We used the following materials for the elaboration of our 2D MIU figure:

These will be the most important materials, and then it is up to the imagination and creativity of each person to make their figure something unique and exclusive.

As a first step we must make a sketch on paper of the figure that we want to shape in the moldable foami, in this case we will draw our creature (MIU) on paper.

! [Spanish version] Como primer paso debemos hacer el boceto en papel de la figura que queremos luego plasmar en el foami moldeable, para esto dibujaremos en este caso a nuestra criatura (MIU) en papel.

Once we have our sketch of the creature, then we will move on to the moldable foami, we will take a piece which is of a suitable size to fit the drawing we made on paper.
Place the dough on a flat surface and with the help of a pencil flatten our piece of moldable foami, once we have the right size, color the paper on top of the dough and give way to draw the outline and details of the creature, with this we will get a small guide which will help us with the next step.

! [Spanish version] Una vez tengamos nuestro boceto de la criatura, a continuación pasaremos con el foami moldeable, tomaremos un trozo el cual sea de un tamaño adecuado donde quepa el dibujo que realizamos en papel.
Colocaremos la masa en una superficie plana y con la ayuda de algún lápiz aplanaremos nuestro trozo de foami moldeable, una vez tengamos el tamaño adecuado, coloremos el papel encima de la masa y daremos paso a trazar el contorno y detalles de la criatura, con esto obtendremos una pequeña guía la cual nos ayudara con el siguiente paso.

Having our creature molded in the moldable mass, we will proceed to take it out and give it shape, for this we will help ourselves with some sharp material such as blades, in my case I used a razor blade.
With a lot of patience we will obtain the shape of our creature so that it goes to the painting area.

! [Spanish version] Teniendo nuestra criatura plasmada en la masa moldeable, procederemos a sacarla y darle forma, para esto nos ayudaremos con algún material filoso como cuchillas, en mi caso utilice una hojilla de afeitar.
Con mucha paciencia obtendremos la forma de nuestra criatura para que pase a la zona de pintura.

It is time to color it, with the corresponding colors of the creature, we will give it life and color, MIU is a cat, so it does not have so much variety of colors, only its gray fur and details such as green eyes, ears and nose in pink. In addition we will outline with black paint or even with marker the outline of the creature.

[Spanish version] Es momento de darle color, con los colores correspondientes de la criatura, le daremos vida y color, MIU es un gato, por lo cual no cuenta con tanta variedad de colores, solo su pelaje gris y detalles como los ojos verdes, orejas y nariz en rosado. Además delinearemos con pintura negra o incluso con marcador el contorno de la criatura.

Having the MIU figure ready, it's time to build his stage or the place where he will perch. For this we will use the cardboard, we will cut a piece of it (it is up to each one's taste as to the dimensions), in my case I decided to make a small space so that it will only be a base for the creature.

! [Spanish version] Teniendo lista la figura de MIU, es hora de construir su escenario o el lugar donde se posara. Para esto utilizaremos el cartón, cortaremos un trozo del mismo (Ya queda al gusto de cada quien en cuanto a las dimensiones), en mi caso decidí hacer un pequeño espacio para que solo sea una base para la criatura.

To make it more eye-catching, we will cut out the cardboard figure in the frosted foami, then we will glue it on top of the cardboard, this being the floor where our MIU will rest:

! [Spanish version] Para darle mas llamativo este escenario, recortaremos la figura del cartón en el foami escarchado, luego la pegaremos encima de dicho cartón siendo este el suelo donde se posara nuestro MIU:

It is important that while gluing each of the pieces we have patience, remember that this figure is made with the intention of showing it off in some corner of the home becoming a collectible piece and we do not want the character to fall or be poorly finished by not waiting for the glue to dry 😅.

And this is how we get our first collectible figure of MIU from HOLOZING, being this the first of many pieces that I plan to create and of course share with all of you.

I hope with all my heart that you liked it because it has been a long time since I made this kind of crafts, my thing has always been more digital art, but I think I did not look bad 😁, the important thing is to show my excitement for this great project that is getting closer and keeps me on the edge of my seat on how it will be in the great world of HOLOZING.
