When you want something, DIY!
Hi, everyone! For this blog, I decided to share to you the DIY beads necklaces that I made which are very easy to do.
Making handmade items has been one of my top hobbies because I like to make something out of my imagination and with the available resources that we have at home.
I like to make designs which are aesthetic! As shown in the picture, I made sunflower, daisy, and cherry designs. At first, it is time consuming to do it but after sometime of repeatedly doing it, it becomes easier.
I sometimes like to make it colorful especially way back in summer. I also sold some of these and earned money. It is nice that many people still appreciate and support locally and handmade products. Well, it felt like hitting two birds with one stone for me because I'm enjoying doing it and I could also have earnings for my studies.
Since minimalist design is a trend, I made these too! This is perfect for beach travels. It gives the boho kind of fit.
It's truly satisfying making these necklaces especially when the colors are so nice.
For these ones, I needed:
- Small beads
- Locks
- Connectors
- Shell beads
- Nylon cord
- Pliers, to secure the locks
As usual, once you started making one, there's no stop! That's why I explored other designs too just like these customized necklaces. It has stones and letter beads for their initials. These are actually customized orders from my beloved customers.
Personalized orders are extra special for me.
I like to mix and match colors. That's a great reason for me buying beads with different shades. I usually do DIY necklaces during my free time or when I feel stressed out. Looking at the final output gives me satisfaction and inspires me to do more of what I love.
I give it as gifts to my friends too. Doing DIY projects requires patience and resourcefulness but in the end, it's better when you can share it to others.
Soon, when I have a better schedule and lesser responsibilities, I promise myself to make more DIY projects because I do have lots in mind. I think the things that I made shows the other side of myself and it reminds me to keep being passionate.
Thus, I also encourage others to look at your surroundings and find out what you can make out of something. Discover what you're interested in and build passion from it. It's even better if we use recycled materials so that we can help save the environment in small ways somehow.
I hope you enjoyed reading my blog.
