Greetings friends of this wonderful community #HIVEDIY, happy start of the week. I hope this week starts with lots of energy and is very productive for everyone.
Today I bring you a tutorial to make a nice butterfly lamp, easy and with few materials that we can find at home. Among the materials I used a mayonnaise container (it can be any transparent glass container), white leaves, led Christmas lights, silicone gun, scissors, cutter and pencil.
We will start by drawing the silhouette of a butterfly (it can be the shape of your choice) on a white sheet of paper. Once the shape is ready, we proceed to cut it out.
Then we will use the glass container and the sheet to measure its height. Mark where the leaf is at the height of the container, fold and trim the excess. Once we have the sheet cut to the size of the container, we measure it to verify if it is correct.
Having the sheet at the right size we will be marking the butterfly shape we made at the beginning. We mark several butterflies in the order of our preference and with the help of a cutter we will cut out the part of the wings, leaving the center untrimmed.
Once the butterflies have been cut out, we will glue the leaf around the container.
Finally, we will carefully place the lights inside the container, and this will be our beautiful lamp, easy to make and with materials that surely we all have at home.
Thank you for visiting my blog and reaching the end of this post. I hope you find my tutorials helpful. Until the next tutorial.
