Today I bring you a new entry again, from the fantasy characters section. In this installment the design is about Exen, a warrior of light who resides in darkness, you will realize that when immersed in darkness we can genuinely appreciate the beauty of the glow of a dim light. and his learning that the brightest light has the densest shadow.
Hoy nuevamente les traigo una nueva entrada, de la sección de personajes de fantasia. En esta entrega el diseño es sobre Exen un guerrero de la luz el cual reside en la oscuridad, se darán cuenta que al estar sumido en la oscuridad podemos apreciar genuinamente la belleza de el resplandor de una tenue luz. y su aprendizaje que la luz mas brillante posee la sombra mas densa.
I started making the design directly from the Paint Tools Sai program in order to test my limits at the moment of design and aesthetics with this character who has very current characteristics for his time and likes to look good and have what the car calls style. Exen is a nice young son of a mercenary who had a destiny equal to his business, growing up on the streets and learning from an early age to be a purse thief in order to survive, because you are responsible for the decisions you make in life. but sometimes life decides for you. He will learn in this story that there is always a good way to do things.
Empecé realizando el diseño directamente desde el programa Paint Tools Sai para así poder probar mis limites al momento de diseño y estética con este personaje el cual posee características muy actuales para su época y le gusta lucir bien y tener lo que el auto denomina como estilo. Exen es un joven simpático hijo de un mercenario el cual tuvo un destino igualitario a su negocio, criándose en las calles y aprendiendo desde muy temprana edad a ser ladrón de carteras para poder sobrevivir, por que eres responsable de las decisiones que tomes en la vida pero a veces la vida decide por ti. el aprenderá en esta historia que siempre hay una buena manera de hacer las cosas.
We begin by developing the body base of how and where we are going to place our project. In this case, I did it with the stick technique simulating a human skeleton with measurements proportional to the drawing style which I am still polishing for this project, for me everything is Try to learn and move forward until you reach what you want.
Comenzamos elaborando la base corporal de como y donde vamos a situar a nuestro proyecto en este caso lo realice con la técnica de palitos simulando un esqueleto humano con las medidas proporcionales al estilo de dibujo el cual aun estoy puliendo para este proyecto, para mi todo se trata de aprender y avanzar hasta llegar a lo deseado.

Remember that to do this type of work you must rest and be calm because it is something a little tiring, especially if you are doing this from a PC since the lines are very imprecise and it is much more difficult to give it the desired shape and sometimes that is a little frustrating.
Normally I always place the sketch below to be able to guide me in the final art because that's why I always do it by hand and in the end I always end up making some changes.
We separate the layers into sections:
- body
- Hair
- Clothing or attire
- Weapons
- and an extra layer to paint each section already mentioned.
Recuerden que para hacer esta clase de trabajos deben descansar y tener calma por que es algo un poco agotador mas si están haciendo esto desde una pc ya que las líneas son muy imprecisas y cuesta darle mucho mas la forma deseada y abecés eso es un poco frustrante.
Normalmente siempre coloco el boceto debajo para poder guiarme en el arte final pues para eso siempre lo hago a mano y al final siempre termino haciendo algunos cambios.
Separamos las capas por secciones:
- Cuerpo
- Cabello
- Ropa o atuendo
- Armas
- y una capa extra para pintar cada sección ya mencionada.

At this point the magic wand tool will be our greatest ally to select the area we want to paint faster, which is why we divide it into layers, so that when painting they do not stain the other areas of the drawing.
I took a break because then I was going to enter the path of violence, and take the opportunity to tell them that the colors were not convincing me at all.
En este punto la herramienta de varita mágica será nuestra mayor aliada para seleccionar mas rápido el área que queremos pintar, es por esto que dividimos en capas, para que al momento de pintar no manchen las otras zonas de el dibujo.
Me tome un respiro por que luego iba a entrar al camino de la violencia, y aprovechar a decirles que los colores no me estaban convenciendo de el todo.

Well, the work is actually finished, and if you are a detail-oriented person you will realize that the design is not yet complete because in this world the warriors have a transformation and in that blank space that remains on the canvas I plan to create their transformation.
Bueno realmente ya el trabajo esta terminado, y si son detallista se darán cuenta que el diseño aun no esta completo pues en este mundo los guerreros poseen una transformación y en ese espacio en blanco que queda en el lienzo pienso crear su transformación.
