Hello friends of hive! This week I bought this notebook to make important notes for my work and I noticed that it was spring-loaded, and although they are very nice and practical, after a while of use the spring begins to open and the pages fall out, but I remembered a technique my brother taught me when I was in school to prevent that from happening and today I will teach it to you.

For this trick you need knitting yarn or wick yarn in the color of your choice that measures twice the length of your notebook and scissors.

The first thing we do is to tie the thread to the end of the spiral of the notebook.

Then we will pass the thread between the spiral as follows: we introduce the thread above in the thin part and pass underneath in the widest rectangle of the spiral. I leave you a photo as a guide.

We will do this sequence until we finish the whole spiral. At the end you can make a knot and cut the excess or continue making knots in macramé technique to leave a nice surplus.
