Hola mis creativ@s de Hive, hoy les traigo un adorno que hice para mi casa ahorita para el comienzo de la navidad.
Es una corona para usarla en la puerta, cerca del árbol, o donde desees decorar.
Hello my Hive creatives, today I bring you an ornament that I made for my house right now for the beginning of Christmas.
It is a wreath to use on the door, near the tree, or wherever you want to decorate.
Materiales que utilicé:
- Rollos de papel higiénico
- Pintura o tempera roja y verde
- Tijera
- Pega blanca
- Piedritas para decorar que tengas en casa
- Pega escarchada
- Cinta adhesiva
- Pincel
Materials I used:
- Rolls of toilet paper
- Red and green paint or tempera
- Scissor
- White glue
- Stones to decorate that you have at home
- Frosty glue
- Scotch tape.
- Brush
Vamos a aplastar un poquito nuestros rollitos y los marcamos para poder picar cuatro pedazos.
Como la idea es hacer una especia de pétalos con los rollitos cortados, vamos a pintarlos por dentro y por fuera, cada uno de ellos. Haremos tantos como sea el tamaño de la corona que desees, recordando que cada flor esta formada por cinco pétalos.
We are going to crush our rolls a little bit and mark them to be able to chop four pieces.
As the idea is to make a kind of petals with the cut rolls, we are going to paint them inside and out, each one of them. We will make as many as the size of the crown you want, remembering that each flower is made up of five petals.
Luego de que estén secos, vamos a ir formando las flores pegándolas en el centro con la pega blanca.
After they are dry, we are going to form the flowers by gluing them in the center with the white glue.
Cuando ya tenía mis nueve flores pegadas y listas, empecé a pegarlas las unas a las otras para ir formando la corona.
Importante ir creando la forma para que nos quede redondita.
When I had my nine flowers glued and ready, I began to glue them to each other to form the crown.
It is important to create the shape so that it is round.
Sentí que mi corona no había quedado muy firme, entonces encontré un papel de regalo e hice unas tiritas para unirlas con cinta plástica y así le diera más firmeza.
Este papel me gustó, porque tiene unos lunares dorados y plateados que le dan un toque de luz.
I felt that my crown had not been very firm, so I found some wrapping paper and made some plasters to join them with plastic tape and thus give it more firmness.
I liked this paper, because it has gold and silver polka dots that give it a touch of light.
I made some green circles with cardboard and tempera for the center of the flowers and I found a little bag where the garlic comes from and I decided to use it to make a bow.
Uní el saquito en el centro con cinta adhesiva, primero un lado y luego el otro, con los pedacitos rotos que tenía hice la parte de abajo de los lazos como sí estuviesen sueltas las cintas.
I joined the bag in the center with adhesive tape, first one side and then the other, with the broken pieces that I had, I made the bottom part of the ties as if the tapes were loose.
Con un trocito de tela pequeñito hice el centro del lazo, pegándolo con sillicón frío. Cuando ya estaba pegada, agarré varias piedritas y cositas variadas y las pegué de esa tela para que resaltará. Usé los colores de la navidad, blanco, dorado, rojo...
With a small piece of fabric I made the center of the bow, gluing it with a cold chair. When it was already glued, I grabbed several pebbles and assorted little things and glued them from that fabric so that it will stand out. I used the colors of Christmas, white, gold, red ...
Ya con el lazo listo vamos a pegar nuestros lunares verdes al centro de nuestras flores. Como me gustó tanto como quedó el lazo, le puse algunos detalles verdes a los lunares, mostacillón, lentejuelas y cositas verdes que tenía a la mano.
Recuerda que siempre es tratar de usar las cosas que tienes en casa.
With the bow ready, we are going to glue our green polka dots to the center of our flowers. As I liked the bow as much as it was, I added some green details to the polka dots, mustacillon, sequins and little green things that I had on hand.
Remember that it is always trying to use the things you have at home.
Ahora le coloco silicón en la parte de atrás de la tela del lazo, y vamos a pegarlo en la zona que más nos guste. Yo quería que quedara inclinado así que lo puse así.
Con una pega escarchada le dí unos detalles en los bordes para que en la noche se vea más linda.
Now I put silicone on the back of the fabric of the bow, and we are going to stick it in the area that we like the most. I wanted it to be tilted so I put it like this.
With a frosty glue I gave it some details on the edges so that at night it looks more beautiful.
Ese fue el último paso de nuestra corona navideña realizada con materiales reciclados. Me emociona siempre crear cosas que adornen y además no generen gastos grandes en el hogar.

That was the last step in our Christmas wreath made with recycled materials. I am always excited to create things that decorate and also do not generate large expenses at home.
