Cute colors but shitty crafts

in #hive-130560last year

The other day I saw a girl describing her crafts as "shitty crafts" and I thought it was hilarious. I also thought it was a great way to characterize these objects I made using air-drying ceramics.
Sorry for the language in my first post in this community, but I can't think of any other way to describe my cute and crappy pieces.
This was my first time playing with this kind of technique, and I had never made any molds by hand before after I stopped playing with school playdough at the age of 5. I found it fun, but not therapeutic as many people say. On the contrary, I got very angry because the pieces were much prettier in my imagination than in reality. 😝
I get a bit anxious when I can't do the things that are in my head. And I don't think I can cope well with frustration haha

Okay, okay, that's enough exposition for a first post.

I forgot to photograph the modeling stages. I think I actually unconsciously didn't record it on purpose, because I knew it wouldn't be as good. Although I sanded the pieces, looking at these photos I realize that I could have sanded a lot more. But, ok, as we say around here: "it's better done than perfect"

I want to practice more and produce better pieces in the future. Still, I like them. I think they're fun and will add color to my decor.
