Today lets make some tool sharing, though I know most people have these tools or yet, but sharing is giving. And I hope you might find some useful with your craft.
*Hoy vamos a compartir algunas herramientas, aunque sé que la mayoría de las personas tienen estas herramientas o todavía, pero compartir es dar. Y espero que puedas encontrar algo útil con tu oficio.
Definitely a must-have, Cutter and Cutting boards. I craft rubber sheets of different thickness, using a large cutter for thick sheets and the small one for curving or more accurate cuts with thin sheets. My Tito (uncle) gave me that small cutter, My Tito is also a great craftsman, when I was young I remember him carving Styrofoam's, like Care Bears and Rainbow Pony in 2D.
Definitivamente un imprescindible, Cortador y Tablas de cortar. Elaboro láminas de caucho de diferentes espesores, utilizando un cortador grande para láminas gruesas y el pequeño para curvas o cortes más precisos con láminas delgadas. Mi Tito (tío) me regaló ese pequeño cortador, Mi Tito también es un gran artesano, cuando era joven lo recuerdo tallando poliestireno, como Care Bears y Rainbow Pony en 2D.
My Sewing Machine: Brother Compal Deluxe (100 volts)
Before I had this plastic sewing machine, but i find it a little not functional when sewing thick fabrics so I upgraded into a heavy duty one. I got this in a Surplus for $100 (less) It took 3 costumes for me to earn money buying this one.
I put some Magnets on it, were I place my Pins and other magnetic stuffs in sewing, pretty handy.
And Presser Foots I bought for $1 in a flea market
What I like about this Compal model that others Compal doesnt have is this button, Its function is sew-per-press, so when ever I need to have a more control over sewing Im using this button.

Heat Gun, this is one of the oldest tools I have. Im using this to minimize pores on rubber sheets and making a rubber formable, as well as removing paints and coats on my craft. This is 100x hotter than a Hair blower (I think) so don't you dare.

Adhesives, Super Glue Contact Cement, dealing with rubber needs a strong adhesives so this 2 are my best choice. thought a DB GRAFT ADHESIVE is really the best since pandemic I cant find a shop selling a particular brand.. DB is the KING.
Tips: Im using empty Ink Bottles with contact cement so, its more neat when spreading it on my craft.

Make-up Brush?? Yes, Im using make-up brush its cheap and have a very soft bristle, compare to those expensive pro artist brushes, this one is just fine and very affordable. I dont usually do Straypaint unless I need to rush. I love hand painted craft. Soon Ill be able to have an Airbrush.. very soon!

Gummed Tape, I considered this a staple, You can do alot with it, from pattern, stencils etc. It is water activated so you dont need to have a paper and glue when making Paper Mache craft , just add water. Keeping it requires extra care, once it absorb moist, it will stick together.

When canvasing for your materials, if you dont have a pick-up, trust me a trolly will make your walk a lot easier. Carry-in/out heavy materials on your shopping really needs some wheels.

One of my precious tool, the Eyelet Puncher. I thought my father isnt supportive of my craft, because my parents dont offer an assistance, or maybe I dont ask for it. One night he saw me crafting a corset that needs a lot of hole, I only have a cutter to do it I just marked a hole with a pens body. Several days later my late father gave this to me, he saw it in a garage sale near his office thinking it might be useful though he is not sure what it is for, It is indeed its an Eyelet puncher.
My Father is also a craftsman, I remember my younger days playing at the backyard while they were busy weaving "Rattan" to form Vases and Baskets, maybe thats how they do for a living during those time.
I miss my father very much.

DREMEL MOTOSAW
I had an Extreme Scrollsaw before, its heavy and the noise that I dont want.. it sound so dangerous to use and doesn't have spare blades available in the market, so I sell it to a guitar maker. Its been a dream having a Dremel Motosaw.
This is a rare find since 2018 in my country, I think Dremel stopped manufacturing this model, Luckily I found a seller and bid for its price, Im not the only one interested buying it. Fortunately I got it for $150 + delivery charges (yes shouldering the delivery charges saved me for having it.)
What is good about this scroll saw is it can be a handheld or countertop place it to any steady table and you are ready to saw. It doesnt produce scary noise thats why I feel a little safe using it
and bought 4 packs of spare blades just in case its the end of the world.
I also have the Dremel 3000 but I don't have it here in my pad.
