Esta manualidad que les traigo hoy, tiene por nombre "El cascanueces de las nieves", sabemos que en navidad no puede faltar algún adorno sobre este en muchas casas. En la mía no era tradición colocar cascanueces, pero me encantaba verlos en las otras casas junto a los árboles de navidad o como centro de mesa, así que
se me ocurrió la idea de crear este bello centro de mesa.

This craft that I bring you today, is called "The Snow Nutcracker", we know that at Christmas time you can't miss any of this in many homes. In my house it was not a tradition to place nutcrackers, but I loved to see them in other houses next to the Christmas trees or as a table centerpiece, so I came up with the idea of creating this craft.

Todos los materiales que use son hojas de foami o retazos de foami que tenía guardado en mi taller de manualidades, muy pocas cosas compré y quedó espectacular, así que les enseñaré poco a poco como hacer este bello "Cascanueces De Las Nieves".

All the materials I used are foami sheets or scraps of foami that I had saved in my craft workshop, very few things I bought and it was spectacular, so I will show you little by little how to make this beautiful "Snow Nutcracker".

Materiales

Hojas de foami o retazos de foami de colores: Rojo, azul, dorado, negro y color piel

Tubos de cartón (Usé los que vienen en las cintas)

Cartulina escolar.

Silicon frío o caliente.

Marcadores.

Cadenas y estrellas ( la cadena es de un collar que ya no usaba, y las estrellas mi abuela me las regaló).

Pincel.

Materials
°Sheets of foami or scraps of colored foami: red, blue, gold, gold, black and skin color.
°Cardboard tubes (I used the ones that come in the ribbons)
°School cardboard.
°Hot or cold silicon.
°markers.
°Scissors.

°white and skin-colored cold paints
Chains and stars (the chain is from a necklace I no longer wore, and the stars were given to me by my grandmother).
°Paintbrush.

PASO A PASO

Lo primero que haremos es pegar los tubos de cartón, en este caso usé tres tubos pequeños para formar un brazo, lo pegué con silicon frío y este me ayudó de guía para cortar los otros brazos que hice en cartulina, en total fueron cuatro tubos en total, dos para los brazos y dos para las piernas.

The first thing to do is to glue the cardboard tubes, in this case I used three small tubes to form an arm, I glued it with cold silicon and this helped me as a guide to cut the other arms that I made in cardboard, there were four tubes in total, two for the arms and two for the legs.

Luego recorté rectángulos de color rojo y azul, los rojos los pegué a los tubos que son para los brazos, los azules los pegué en los tubos que son para las piernas, aquí me ayudé con silicon caliente. En los brazos le coloque una cinta de foami dorado por alrededor, piqué el foami sin llegar a la orilla, para que diera ese relieve tan bonito y lo pegué. Con el mismo dorado le hice una tapa en la parte de arriba, ya para este punto tenemos los brazos listos.

Then I cut out red and blue rectangles, the red ones I glued them to the tubes for the arms, the blue ones I glued them to the tubes for the legs, here I used hot silicon. On the arms I put a gold foami ribbon all around, I cut the foami without reaching the edge, so that it would give that nice relief and glued it. With the same gold I made a lid on the top, and for this point we have the arms ready.

En las piernas, le coloqué una cinta de foami negro para simular las botas del cascanueces, con el mismo foami hice unos pequeños óvalos para simular los zapatos. Todo esto lo fui pegando con silicon caliente.

On the legs, I placed a black foami ribbon to simulate the nutcracker's boots, with the same foami I made some small ovals to simulate the shoes. I glued all this with hot silicon.

Ahora vamos a la parte del cuerpo y la cara, para este paso yo usé una lata de maíz, la iban a botar y le vi un tremendo potencial en las manualidades JAHAJAJA. En la parte de abajo le pegué la cinta de foami roja, luego arriba le pegué la cinta de color piel y por último la cinta de color negro para simular el sombrero tan característico.

Now let's go to the body and face, for this step I used a corn can, they were going to throw it away and I saw a tremendous potential in crafts HAHAHA. At the bottom I glued the red foami tape, then on top I glued the skin colored tape and finally the black tape to simulate the characteristic hat.

Ahora empezaremos a colocar todos los detalles, como son las cadenas del atuendo, las hice con foami dorado, su correa que fue realizada con foami negro y dorado, unas estrellitas a los lados simulando los botones. En el gorro le coloqué una cadena por el borde y otra en el medio junto a unas estrellas en las esquinas y listo.

Now we will begin to place all the details, such as the chains of the outfit, I made them with gold foami, its strap that was made with black and gold foami, some little stars on the sides simulating the buttons. On the hat I placed a chain around the edge and another in the middle with some stars in the corners and that's it.

Hemos realizado las piernas, los brazos y el cuerpo, ahora vamos a realizar la cara que fue mi momento favorito. Con un palillo fui dibujando los ojos, la nariz, las cejas y el bigote, luego con pintura blanca rellené los ojos, mientras se secaba pinté la nariz con un color más oscuro que el de la piel, deje que se secara muy bien.

We have made the legs, arms and body, now we are going to make the face, which was my favorite moment. With a toothpick I drew the eyes, nose, eyebrows and mustache, then with white paint I filled in the eyes, while it was drying I painted the nose with a darker color than the skin, let it dry very well.

Cuando todo estaba seco repasé todo con marcador negro, excepto los ojos, que los pinté de azules. Con una tinta para labios rojas le pinté los cachetes, quedó perfecto,lo veía un poco vacío asíque con el marcador le dibujé el cabello. Veía que le faltaba luz a mí cascanueces, así que con pintura blanca fui pintando unos destellos de luz en todas las partes del cuerpo. Después fui pegando todas las partes poco a poco al cuerpo, pegué todo con silicon caliente.

When everything was dry I went over everything with black marker, except the eyes, which I painted blue. With a red lipstick I painted the cheeks, it was perfect, it looked a little empty so with the marker I drew the hair. I saw that my nutcracker lacked light, so with white paint I painted some flashes of light in all parts of the body. Then I glued all the parts little by little to the body, I glued everything with hot glue.

Que precioso se veía mi guardián de las nieves, pero para ser un guardian de las nieves debe tener o estar en la nieve no!?. Así que en un pedazo de cartón lo pegué y poco a poco con mucha paciencia, fui pegando bolitas de unicel, hasta que quedara todo cubierto de estas bolitas. A un frasco le pinte unas curvas que simularan la nieve y lo pegué a la base, y ahora si podremos decir que está listo nuestro centro de mesa.

How beautiful my snow guardian looked, but to be a snow guardian he has to have or be in the snow, right? So I glued it on a piece of cardboard and little by little with a lot of patience, I was gluing little balls of unicel, until everything was covered with these little balls. I painted some curves on a jar to simulate snow and glued it to the base, and now we can say that our centerpiece is ready.

Fue muy divertido crear a este lindo y cuchi cascanueces, en el frasco que está al lado le coloqué dulces para que la persona que quiera, al pasar tomé un caramelito. Eso si, solo uno pues el Cascanueces De Las nieves estará vigilando cuantos caramelos agarras. Fue un proyecto donde mi mamá me apoyó un poco, mientras nos divertíamos cortando pedazos de foami, tomábamos chocolate caliente y contábamos historias de la familia, es una manualidad que se puede hacer en familia, lleva su tiempo claro, pero vale la pena.

It was a lot of fun to create this cute and cuchi nutcracker, in the jar that is next to it I placed candy so that the person who wants to take a candy when passing by can take a candy. Just one, because the Snow Nutcracker will be watching how many candies you take. It was a project where my mom supported me a little, while we had fun cutting pieces of foami, drinking hot chocolate and telling family stories, it is a craft that can be done as a family, it takes time of course, but it's worth it.
