I am Rasi from Sri Lanka. This is my first time writing in this community.
This is about creating a simple valentine card. I have made some complex cards before. This time I wanted it to be supper dupper simple, but it should look elegant at the same time.
We need only few items for this one. They are as follows,
- A card
- Piece of red paper
- A black marker pen
- Pencil
- Pair of scissors
- Glue
Initially my plan was to create this with a white color board. But I used pink one when I found out, I ran out of white.
I got a half size of a A4 board and folded it. If you prefer a big card you can use the whole A4 card. Any size will do it.
Then I got the red paper piece to cut a heart. If you want a perfectly balanced heart, you should get a square first and fold it in the diagonal as I did. Then you can draw it as in my picture. I have realized the heart is too big for my card, so I had to make it small.
After pasting the heart on the card, I have used the pencil to write word “Love” connected with the line. I always make sure my writing won’t be ruined. That’s why I use the pencil first, before using the marker pen.
That’s all for my card. I decided not to decorate inside. Just wrote few things for the partner. I know this will be more beautiful in a white card.
