Upholstery art || DIY || reupholster of a Lexus car seat

Hello friends

Good evening everyone, how did you enjoy your day hope it was peaceful. Has for me it was Great.
Today I bring to you another beautiful post on car upholstery which can help you on reupholst of a car seat. In this post I will be brief and details with the help of photo to show the practical part of it.

If you follow the steps I am going to explain u will find it very simple.
Let see how I make that

Step 1
The first thing I do was to loose the seat from the car to my shop, after that I now go to Market to buy the leather that matches the original colour of the old seat. Here is the material

Step 2
After getting my seat to the shop I now loose the side components and the unplug the wire out of it and remove the screw with the help of screwdriver and the unclip the seat from the iron base

The reason for doing this is for easy measurement and easy upholstery.

Step 3
In this step I use my tape to take the measurement of the seat by considering the vertical and the horizontal length of each joining on the seat and the write it out on the body.

Step 4
I transfer the measurement to my leather , following the horizontal length first and follow by the vertical length

Step 5
I bring out those cutting material and place it on tope of the seat and then use my chalk to draw exactly has it on the seat and then cut it out which form the shape of the seat

Press it on the car roof material

To make it smooth and think
Then gum it

So that it will not move when sawing it

Cut it out

Step 6
I use my sawing machine to sew the material together as exactly has it was before using the old seat has reference.

Step 7
The upholstery step. After sewing my material I now cover it. But before you cover it. In the center and side the have rode that clip the material to the frame

I now click my new material to the frame with the help of pliar

And the cover it

I do same to the seat

Step 7
Finally I tight it back with the cover by the side

I took a selfie with my seat
