Hello hivers ⨠how are you? How are you spending the day? Today I want to share with you this process of a free drawing to relax a little and practice, So using black pens that I love to draw and doing this type of drawing that comes out more easily for me girl with eyes closed with the torso portion waiting to see what I would get with this practice.
Materials
â¤ď¸ White sheet
â¤ď¸ Black pen
â¤ď¸ Black gel pen
â¤ď¸ Red, black and white paint
â¤ď¸ Red pen
#1 For the sheet I used a drawing blog that I had some sheets left, and I had been using them to paint so the tablecloth wouldn't get stained, So the leaf was splashed with gold paint which I thought gave it a nice touch and could be integrated into the design, I started by making a basic sketch for the face, with an oval and curved lines for the neck, to put the features I used some cross-shaped lines to be able to distribute them well, and for the nose I do it by making the references of a a slightly larger central circle for the tip of the nose and two other smaller ones for the structure of the nostrils and following the distribution of the nose and I drew out the curves that would be the prominences of the forehead for the eyebrows.
#2 I sketched the lines of the girl's neck and torso, also using the lines of the cross on the face to distribute the strokes, although always This is one of the things that usually costs me the most, the perspectives, and that the size of the head matches the body đŤ . I drew the features of the face, making the eyes closed, detailing the bridge of the nose and giving shadows to the nose, the shape of the mouth, and the prominences of the face such as the cheekbones, chin and forehead. To fill in and give color and shadows to the skin, fill in the entire skin area with diagonal lines using very thin strokes thin, and then diagonally in reverse of what I had already done, so that the whole drawing was left with a kind of grid.
#3 Using this grid as a base, darken the skin and then, from there, make the shadows and give more depth to the drawing, adding shadows on the bridge of the nose and the tip, highlighting the eyebrows, adding details such as eyelashes, I darkened the cheeks, forehead , chin and lips. I darkened the neck with shadows, and the collarbones. I began to sketch the hair and made some arabesque figures above the head, and in the center of the chest.
#4 Now having the complete drawing, with the black gel pen, I detailed more the shadows of all the features of the face, arching the eyebrows, highlighting the nose, the lip and the cheeks. I finished the hair with the gel pen, and left space for Make two white stripes as locks, and dots for shine in the hair. With black paint and a brush đď¸ fill in the arabesques that I did, my idea was to make a kind of "cloud" or "essence".
#5 Using cold red paint I made an outline around the entire figure of the girl to make it stand out more, with a toothpick (my most important instrument) versatile haha) I made little dots inside the black arabesques to make a kind of little stars. With a normal black pen I made some spirals around the central figure of the girl, and with a red pen I made stars around it to fill the space more.

English Version** Lastly to add an extra layer of texture I took a brush with white paint and made some brush strokes all around the girl, It is not very noticeable, but the contrast of the golden dots that the sheet had, and the black spirals and red stars with the white brush strokes. I also denoted the arabesques by outlining them with white paint. To finish I will explain a little what I wanted to express, the idea of everything Black spirals and red stars around the girl's figure would represent all that mental noise, emotions and problems that are affecting us overwhelming in the day to day, and that "essence or arabesques" moving from the mind and chest like the starry night to represent the illusion or your inner peace trying to isolate yourself from all that external fog.**
I hope you liked it, thank you very much for reading me! đâşď¸
