Greetings again friends of the community. For this opportunity I come to bring you a guide in which you can see the whole process to create and decorate a pencil holder. So without further ado let's get started.
Saludos nuevamente amigos de la comunidad. Para esta oportunidad les vengo a traer una guía en que podrán ver todo el proceso para crear y decorar un portalapiz. Así que sin más preámbulos comencemos.
To begin with we must create a drawing that will serve as decoration for our pencil container, and as mentioned before it will be pixel style. That is why we must have at our disposal a sheet of graph paper -in my case it was taken from a notebook.
Para empezar debemos de crear un dibujo que nos servirá de decoración para nuestro contenedor de lápices, y tal como se mencione antes será al estilo pixel. Es por eso que debemos de tener a nuestro alcance una hoja de papel cuadriculado -en mi caso fue extraída de un block.
Next, and after having looked for a reference image from the Internet or another source, we proceed to draw the sketch of the character, a Pokemon.
Seguidamente y tras haber buscado una imagen de referencia de Internet u otra fuente, procedemos a elaborar el boceto del personaje, un Pokemon.
We outline all the areas that were marked with pencil using a black marker.
Delineamos todas las zonas que fueron marcadas con lápiz usando un marcador negro.
We colored the whole figure, which took these colors: yellow, orange, reddish orange, gray, amber, and white (blanks that are glitter in the eyes or part of his hooves).
Coloreados toda la figura, el cual llevó estos colores: amarillo, naranja, naranja rojizo, gris, ámbar, y blanco (espacios en blanco que son brillo en los ojos o parte de sus pezuñas).
We cut out the image (you can use a cutter for more precision).
Recortamos la imagen ( pueden usar un cutter para mayor precisión).
Glue it on top of a sheet of paper that will be colored with light blue, which will be our background color and will cover the entire pencil holder.
Pegamos encima de una hoja que será coloreada con azul celeste siendo esta nuestro color de fondo y que a su vez cubrirá todo el portalapiz.
We glue the sheet to the container and then cut it out with this measure: 13 cm high.
Adherimos la hoja al envase para luego ser recortada con esta está medida: 13 cm de alto.
And to protect the whole cover we put transparent contact paper.
Y para proteger toda la cubierta le colocamos papel contacto transparente.
And that's it! We are done with our work 😃 What do you think?
