Mis flores favoritas son las rosas. En cualquier color me encantan. Quizá mi gusto viene desde muy pequeña porque mis abuelos tenían dos rosales enormes y mi mamá también tenía uno un poco más modesto (aunque las rosas de éste eran enormes). Un día ví formas de hacer rosas con papel y me gustó mucho cómo quedaban, así que en este post te enseñaré paso a paso dos formas de hacerlas✨
My favorite flowers are roses. I love them in any color. Probably my taste comes since I was very young because my grandparents had two huge rose bushes and my mom also had a slightly more modest one (although the roses on this one were huge). One day I saw ways to make roses with paper and I really liked how they turned out, so in this post I will show you two ways to make them step by step✨

Ok, en primer lugar les enseñaré mi técnica favorita que es la del papel crepé. Para ésta rosa tomamos un pedazo de papel crepé con 5cm de ancho aproximadamente. El tamaño de la flor dependerá del largo del papel, por lo cual el largo queda a tu gusto.
Ok, first of all I will teach you my favorite technique which is the crepe paper technique. For this rose we take a piece of crepe paper approximately 5cm wide. The size of the flower will depend on the length of the paper, so the length is to your liking.

Luego coloca el papel vertical y toma una de sus esquinas. Dobla la punta hacia adentro para que quede como un triángulo y después vuelve a doblar en el mismo sitio. Te quedará un doblés así:
Then place the paper vertically and take one of its corners. Fold the edge in so it looks like a triangle, then fold it back in the same place. You will have a double like this:

Después deberás doblar hacia adentro nuevamente pero esta vez toma la mitad de ese pequeño doblés para apretar fuerte doblando hacia afuera. La explicación escrita de esto es confusa 😅 por lo que es más fácil verlo en un gif:
Then you will need to fold in again but this time take half of that little fold to press hard folding out. The written explanation for this is a bit confusing 😅 so it's easier to see it in a gif:
Entonces seguirás haciendo estos doblés en todo el papel. Una vez listo simplemente vas a enrollarlo completo, justo de esta forma:
Then you will continue to do these folds all over the paper. Once done, you are simply going to roll it up completely, just like this:
¡Listo! Tienes una bonita rosa. Me resultó una técnica sencilla y con un acabado bastante lindo. De nuevo, el tamaño depende de qué tan largo hagas el papel porque al enrollarlo es que tomará forma la flor.
All done! You have a pretty rose. It turned out to be a simple technique with a pretty nice finish. Again, the size depends on how long you make the paper because it is when you roll it that the flower will take shape.

La otra forma es más sencilla, puedes hacerlo con papel lustrillo para que se vean más brillantes o con papel normal de colores. De hecho, esta técnica es bastante similar a una que ya expliqué en
otro post, sin embargo en aquel hacía mariposas en vez de rosas.
The other way is easier, you can do it with glossy paper to make them look brighter or with normal colored paper. In fact, this technique is quite similar to one that I already explained in
another post, however in that one I made butterflies instead of roses.
Entonces con el papel de preferencia recorta tres círculos pequeños y simétricos. Cada uno doblalo a la mitad, de esta forma:
Then with the paper of preference cut three small and symmetrical circles. Fold each one in half, like this:

Luego vuelve a doblar a la mitad y te quedará una marca en el centro de cada uno.

Ahora debes colocarlos todos juntos alineados y justo en el centro graparlos. De esta forma:

Y esas son las dos técnicas simples para tener rosas un poco más duraderas que las reales. Las de papel crepé me parecen bellas, luego haré más con otro color para decorar e incluso pueden servir para regalar 🌹
And those are the two simple techniques to have roses that are a little longer lasting than the real ones. The crepe paper ones look gorgeous to me, later I'll do more with another color to decorate and they can even be used as gifts 🌹
