Siempre he estado fascinada por las manualidades, me gusta mucho hacerlas pero no soy muy buena, aunque algunas cositas me quedan lindas de vez en cuando. Normalmente hago manualidades para fechas especiales como navidad, para decoraciones, regalos o cuando necesito algo en particular como un organizador o algo parecido. Hace varios días tenía que ir a un cumpleaños fuera de mi ciudad, era la fiesta de una prima y estuve comprándole varias cositas de maquillaje que sabía le iban a gustar, pero olvide por completo comprar una bolsa y cuando estaba empacando todo me di cuenta de ello, así que dije "mejor le hago una cajita de regalo" y después de ver varios tutoriales realicé esta cajita.

I've always been fascinated by crafts, I like to do them a lot but I'm not very good at them, although I do make some cute little things from time to time. I usually make crafts for special dates like Christmas, for decorations, gifts or when I need something in particular like an organizer or something like that. Several days ago I had to go to a birthday out of my city, it was a cousin's party and I was buying her several little makeup things that I knew she would like, but I completely forgot to buy a bag and when I was packing everything I realized it, so I said "I better make her a little gift box" and after watching several tutorials I made this little box.

Estuve utilizando una cartulina metalizada muy bonita, también regla, lápiz, grapadora y cintas para hacer un lazo. Fueron pocos materiales y muy fáciles de encontrar, incluso pueden dejar la cajita sin la cinta pero para mi eso le daba un toque más top.

I was using a very nice metallic cardboard, also ruler, pencil, stapler and ribbons to make a bow. They were few materials and very easy to find, you can even leave the box without the ribbon but for me that gave it a touch more top.

Para comenzar estuve tomando la cartulina por el lado blanco y ahí comencé a marcar el tamaño de la caja, yo me guie de unas medidas que encontré en un video pero la quería más grande, así que hice mis propias medidas y se las voy a dejar en la primera imagen. Luego estuve haciendo las líneas según las medidas con mi regla y un lápiz, yo utilizo portaminas por costumbre.

To start I was taking the cardboard on the white side and there I began to mark the size of the box, I was guided by some measurements that I found in a video but I wanted it bigger, so I made my own measurements and I'll leave them in the first image. Then I was making the lines according to the measurements with my ruler and a pencil, I use mechanical pencil out of habit.

Luego estuve marcando todas las líneas con ayuda de una regla, para que quedaran bien firmes. Luego estuve haciendo un dobles muy esencial, el más importante de todos. Tomando la cartulina por el lado más angosto, en el medio se realiza un doble en forma de triangulo y se hace lo mismo en los 4 lados.

Then I was marking all the lines with the help of a ruler, so that they were very firm. Then I was making a very essential double, the most important of all. Taking the cardboard by the narrowest side, in the middle you make a double in the shape of a triangle and do the same on the 4 sides.

Después nos va a quedar todo levantado, y es ahí donde vamos a comenzar a doblar, desde el centro, para poder formar la caja. Al principio es complicado pero después nos damos cuentas que solita se dobla y la cajita aparece.

Then we are going to have the whole thing up, and that is where we are going to start folding, from the center, to be able to form the box. At first it is complicated but then we realize that it folds by itself and the box appears.

Tomé todos los regalos, los cuales fueron, una mini paleta de sombras de Body Philosophy, una brocha doble, un jabón de cejas de Kiss Beauty, mascara de pestañas de Karité y una base de maquillaje de Salome Makeup, y los coloque dentro de la caja y la cerré con dos grapas en la parte superior. Luego tomé la cinta y forme un lazo sencillo, eso no es mi especialidad pero quedo lindo.

I took all the gifts, which were a Body Philosophy mini eyeshadow palette, a double brush, a Kiss Beauty eyebrow soap, Shea Butter mascara and a Salome Makeup foundation, and placed them inside the box and closed it with two staples on the top. Then I took the ribbon and made a simple bow, that's not my specialty but it was cute.
