Hello friends! How are you? This is my first time posting here, and I want to show you something that I do very often in my house, which is this kind of recycling that turns everything into a pot. We have a lot of plants around here and that makes that every time we want to make small plants, we need pots, either to give as a gift or to keep growing the garden.
Hola amigos! Como están? Es mi primera vez publicando por aquí, y quiero mostrarles algo que hago muy a menudo en mi casa, que es este tipo de reciclados que convierten todo en maceta. Tenemos muchas plantas por aquí y eso hace que cada vez que queremos hacer pequeños hijos de alguna, necesitemos macetas, así sea para regalar o para seguir creciendo el jardín.
I am Erika, I live in Argentina and this is a great recycling story. And I say big, although my mobilization is small. But I have been aware for many years of the level of garbage produced, and the level of waste that many things have as we buy them.
My biggest concern is that these containers are single-use and that many do not reach recycling plants either. Thus polluting the environment and destroying our planet. Today I am especially telling you my bit with this material that is highly recyclable and it is nothing more and nothing less than aluminum cans.
Yo soy Erika, vivo en Argentina y esta es una gran historia de reciclado. Y digo gran, aunque mi movilización es pequeña. Pero soy consciente hace muchos años el nivel de basura producida, y el nivel de desperdicio que tienen muchas cosas tal cual las compramos.
Mi mayor preocupación es que estos envases son de único uso y que muchos no llegan a plantas de reciclado tampoco. Contaminando así el medio ambiente y destruyendo nuestro planeta. Hoy especialmente les cuento mi granito de arena con este material que es altamente reciclable y se trata de nada más y nada menos que latas de aluminio.

The procedure is as follows, once the drink is finished, wash the can, let it dry, and then with a cutter or your selected tool, carefully cut all around the top edge and then carefully remove it.
A great touch to avoid any cuts with the damage caused by the cutter cuts, is to use a pair of tweezers, or your favorite tool, to squeeze the edges that were left up and whose peaks we do not want in our pot. I am careful to squeeze every corner inward.

Un toque genial para evitar cualquier corte con los desperfectos que realizan los cortes del cutter, es con una pinza, o tu herramienta preferida, apretar los bordes que quedaron levantados y cuyos picos no queremos en nuestra maceta. Voy cuidando de apretar cada rincón hacia adentro.
Before I made some small holes on the bottom side to filter the water, I forgot to photograph this step. Now we proceed to fill the soil, I used bat guano and common soil that I had around, this way I get the plant to find the nutrients it may need and develop nice and healthy.
Antes realicé unos pequeños agujeros del lado de abajo para filtrar el agua, este paso olvidé fotografiarlo. Ahora sí, procedemos al llenado de tierra, yo utilicé guano de murciélago y tierra común que tenía por allí, de esta manera logro que la planta encuentre los nutrientes que puede necesitar y desarrollarse bonita y saludable.
As I am making clones from a mother plant, I selected some nice branches and put them through my natural lentil rooting medium and will wait hopefully for the temperature to start to rise and they can fully develop. But if you use any flower or aromatic seeds, you will need to germinate them first or cover the soil afterwards to create humidity.
Como yo estoy haciendo esquejes de una planta madre, seleccioné algunas ramas bonitas y las pasé por mi enraizante natural de lentejas y esperaré con esperanzas que la temperatura comience a subir y puedan desarrollarse plenamente. Pero si usas semillas de alguna flor o aromática, deberás germinarla antes o cubrir la tierra luego para crear humedad.
At the end I put all the pots together in the shade, tonight they will sleep here and then I will take them to their final destination, until the time comes to give them away or move them to another pot! The first weeks it is advisable to be cautious with the watering unless they need it because of the temperature of the place where you are.

Las primeras semanas es recomendable ser precavido con el regado a no ser que lo necesiten por la temperatura del lugar donde te encuentres.
