Cuando aparecen en tu mente preguntas como la siguiente ¿qué podré hacer con las mascarillas que uso y que sea útil? Llevaba días con esa inquietud, hasta que hoy me llegó la respuesta.
Les comento, para el post de hoy tenía previsto hacer una flor de tela, y los planes cambiaron, en vez de hacer la flor de tela la haría utilizando simplemente dos mascarillas, las cuales previamente esterilicé lavándolas suavemente y luego secando con el secador de cabello.
La creatividad es así te sorprende cuando menos te la esperas, simplemente creas una inquietud y cuando menos te lo esperas aparece la respuesta, de allí lo importante de escucharla y tratar de seguirla, una forma de mantenerla viva y guíe siempre tu arte a través de la creación.
When questions like What can I do with the masks that I use and that is useful? appear in your mind, I had been worried about it for days, until today I got the answer.
For today's post I had planned to make a fabric flower, but the plans changed, instead of making the fabric flower I would simply make it using two masks, which I previously sterilized by washing them gently and then drying them with the hair dryer.
Creativity is like that, it surprises you when you least expect it, you simply create a concern and when you least expect it the answer appears, hence the importance of listening to it and try to follow it, a way to keep it alive and always guide your art through creation.
Materiales
Los materiales para realizar esta flor son súper básicos, regla, aguja, hilo, botón, lápiz, silicón, alfileres, dos mascarillas que ya no uses previamente esterilizados y tijeras.
Es recomendable que las dos mascarillas a utilizar sean del mismo tipo, esto con el fin de que la flor quede uniforme.
Materials
The materials to make this flower are super basic, ruler, needle, thread, button, pencil, silicone, pins, two masks that you no longer use previously sterilized and scissors.
It is recommended that the two masks to be used are of the same type, so that the flower is uniform.
Pasos
Cortar cuidadosamente con la tijera, la orilla de las dos mascarillas que se utilizarán para hace la flor. Seguidamente, cortar cinco cuadrados con las mismas dimensiones, en mi caso corté cinco cuadrados con medida de seis centímetros.
Steps
Carefully cut with the scissors, the edge of the two masks that will be used to make the flower. Next, cut five squares with the same dimensions, in my case I cut five squares measuring six centimeters
Doblar cada uno de los cuadrados formando un triángulo, luego colocar un alfiler a cada cuadrado, de tal forma no se mueva el doblez y se haga fácil de coser.
Fold each of the squares forming a triangle, then attach a pin to each square, so that the fold does not move and is easy to sew.
Es el momento de coser cada triángulo, se cosen los dos lados que no están cosidos. A continuación jalar el hilo para arruchar y formar el pétalo, repetir la secuencia con cada uno de los triángulos. Cortar y esconder el hilo.
It is time to sew each triangle, sew the two sides that are not sewn. Then pull the thread to gather and form the petal, repeat the sequence with each of the triangles. Cut and hide the thread.
Es el turno de colocar el centro a la flor, en este caso el centro será un botón rojo, con silicón caliente agregado al botón para luego pegar en el centro de la flor.

Como podrán ver en la imagen a continuación, así luce la flor luego de haber colocado el botón rojo en centro de la flor.

Estoy impresionada con el resultado, la flor ha quedado preciosa, lo impresionada es por el material que he usado, mascarillas. Lo bueno es que hemos reutilizado algo que iba a la basura. Con este proyecto he contribuido en algo con el ambiente.
Sigo pensando en que puedo hacer con las ligas de las mascarilla, cuando se me ocurra les compartiré el proceso creativo.
Esta flor la usaré para decorar una bolsa de regalo.

I am impressed with the result, the flower has turned out beautifully, but I am impressed by the material I used, masks. The good thing is that we have reused something that was going to the trash. With this project I have contributed something to the environment.
I am still thinking about what I can do with the rubber bands from the mask, when I think of it I will share with you the creative process.
I will use this flower to decorate a gift bag.
