a. Where are you the happiest?
Sewing anything I’ve personally created and teaching others to sew. Like the pattern in this post.
b. What positive traits can you bring to a team?
I’m enthusiastic and I work hard, so I can usually motivate people to do their best and bring their best efforts to a team
c. What is something positive about you that some might see as negative?
I’m extremely bossy and competitive. But, then sometimes someone’s got to do it, right?
d. What has been/is your favorite positive surprise about Hive?
Community awareness and meeting wonderful, wonderful people.
So let me demo what I do

Cutting layout
Notions
_ 1 ½ m of stretch knit fabric
_ Sewing thread
_ Overlocker
_ Plain machine or Serger
Cutting
_Lay the pattern pieces onto your fabric according to the diagram.
_ Cut 2 fronts, 2 backs and 2 basques
Sewing
_ Lay the front and back right sides together
_ Overlock the crotch seams on the back and front with right sides together
_ Lay the front over the back, right sides together
_ Overlock the pants together on the outside leg
_ Overlock the inside legs together starting at the hem edge and sewing towards the crotch. Stop at the crotch and start the other leg from the hem and sew towards the seam on the other leg (meeting at the crotch point)
_ Overlock the basque right sides together
_ Fold the basque in half, attach it to the top edge of the trousers, stretching and easing to fit as you sew.
_ Hem and press
Construct the pocket by drawing the shape onto the front at the top (on the side edge). Start by drawing a rounded shape at least one and 1/2 hands away from side seam. Draw a diagonal from the top edge to the side seam that is big enough to slide your hand into. Draw these pieces onto a sheet of paper as shown in the video and diagram. Cut the diagonal edge away from the pattern front as shown in the video. Construct the rest of the garment as above
