Un saludo querida comunidad, continuando con el ciclo de costuras que hice en el mes de diciembre para mi familia quiero compartir con ustedes un vestido que elaboré a partir de un patrón de camisa con cuello Halter. Este patrón lo alargué calculando la cintura y el contorno de cadera y el largo deseado del vestido.

La tela es elastizada como una licra gruesa que tenía dos años guardada y se ajustaba perfectamente a la silueta, aunque es sencillo de coser queda elegante y muy cómodo. En pocos pasos te comento como lo hice y los materiales necesarios.

Greetings dear community, continuing with the cycle of sewing I did in December for my family I want to share with you a dress that I made from a halter neck shirt pattern. I elongated this pattern by calculating the waist and hip circumference and the desired length of the dress.

The fabric is elasticized like a thick lycra that I had two years in storage and fit perfectly to the silhouette, although it is simple to sew it is elegant and very comfortable. In a few steps I will tell you how I did it and the materials needed.

Doblamos la tela por el orillo, coloque el patrón dejando el largo deseado y el ancho que me proporciona el contorno de cadera y corte dos piezas iguales

Fold the fabric along the selvage, place the pattern leaving the desired length and the width provided by the hip contour and cut two equal pieces.

Pegué los laterales a casi un centímetro del orillo

I glued the sides almost one centimeter away from the selvedge.

Procedí a pegar un sesgo elástico por la sisa, estirando suavemente hasta terminar de cubrir toda la bocamanga

I proceeded to glue an elastic bias through the armhole, stretching gently until I finished covering the entire sleeve cuff.

Corte una tira de aproximadamente 4 centímetros de ancho por 24 de largo que será el trozo que cubre la parte alta del cuello. La hilvané y los pasé por la máquina en costura recta

Cut a strip approximately 4 centimeters wide by 24 centimeters long, which will be the piece that covers the upper part of the neck. I basted it and put it through the machine in a straight seam.

Deje uno de los lados abierto y pasé la costura en todo el borde del ruedo

I left one of the sides open and stitched all the way around the edge of the hem.

Hice un ojal y coloque un botón para cerrar el cuello

I made a buttonhole and placed a button to close the collar.

Tuve que hacer unos ajustes a los laterales del vestido después de dos pruebas, pero mi clienta favorita quedó satisfecha. Con un poco de creatividad podemos hacer algo nuevo a partir de un patrón de otra pieza. Y el producto final quedo de esta manera
