Un saludo para todos en esta hermosa comunidad que extrañaba compartir desde hace tiempo, pues mi computadora tiene algunas dificultades técnicas que aún tenemos que atender. Hoy puedo compartir uno de los trabajos que hice, que son muy útiles. Tratándose de reciclar, darle otros usos a las telas que tenemos o piezas que no nos sirven.
Greetings to everyone in this beautiful community that I missed sharing for a long time, as my computer has some technical difficulties that we still have to take care of. Today I can share one of the works I did, which are very useful. It is about recycling, giving other uses to the fabrics we have or pieces that are no longer useful.
Hice un hermoso bolso con jean reciclado de una vieja falda, combinado con otros materiales y retazos, le confeccioné un pequeño bolso a una de mis hijas. Te comparto en pocos pasos como lo hice y los materiales.
I made a beautiful bag with recycled jeans from an old skirt, combined with other materials and scraps, I made a small bag for one of my daughters. I share with you in a few steps how I did it and the materials.

Tela de Jean
Tela para forrar
Guata
Cinta al bies
Broche
Hilos para bordar
Aguja, tijeras, hilos.

PROCEDIMIENTO:
Para iniciar este bolso hice un cuadrado que mide 25x23 cm. A este cuadrado le hice un pequeño redondeo por los bordes.
PROCEDURE:
To start this bag I made a square measuring 25x23 cm. To this square I made a small rounding around the edges.
Piqué dos piezas en jean y dos piezas en la tela de forro. A ambas les coloqué en el medio la guata, las sujeté con alfileres y cosí por todo el alrededor, les coloqué una cinta bies que tenía en casa que combinaba, por todo el orillo.
I stitched two pieces in denim and two pieces in lining fabric. I placed the wadding in the middle of both, pinned them together and sewed all the way around, I placed a matching bias tape I had at home all around the selvedge.
Prepare unas piezas para un bolsillo delantero con un cuadrado de jean. Y también cosí dos tiras largas de medida de: 90cm x 8cm
I prepared some pieces for a front pocket with a jean square. And I also sewed two long strips measuring: 90cm x 8cm.
Luego de tener todos estos pasos listos, cosí a máquina las tiras colocándolas con las mismas medidas.
After having all these steps ready, I sewed the strips by machine, placing them with the same measurements.
Posteriormente uní ambas partes con puntada recta en máquina. También hice el fondo del bolso unas costuras para que tenga profundidad.
Then I joined both parts with a straight stitch on the machine. I also made the bottom of the bag a few seams to give it depth.
Para darle un toque personal, le borde en la parte del frente tres rosas con color violeta y una orilla con punto cadeneta para que resalte un poco más.
To give it a personal touch, I bordered the front with three purple roses and a chain stitch border to make it stand out a little more.
Y coloqué un broche para poder cerrar el bolsito.
And I put a clasp to close the bag.
Así te muestro como luce este pequeño cómodo bolso que le gusta a mi pequeña. Sé que lo usará y durara mucho tiempo más.
