DIY - Wrapping Xmas presents. Why not make them a little bit prettier?

in #hive-1305603 years ago
I have always liked to wrap birthday- and xmas presents in pretty wrapping paper. I like that people can look forward to opening my presents just because they look nice too. If my present wasn't good at all, at least my wrapping was, haha! And why not have something pretty underneath your tree for xmas?

I have learn to wrap presents in two pretty ways. It's easiest to wrap this way when the presents are square.

I learn the wrappings on youtube HERE.

Buy a nice ribbon and some pretty decorations to make the little extra statement to it. It doesn't need to be expensive either!

I also tried to make a pretty bow, but I didn't have the right material to do it. But I still want to show you how to do it. Just click HERE.

These xmas wrappings is from last year. I won't be wrapping anything this year just because my family have stopped giving presents to each other this xmas,

just because we don't need anything else than just spend time together. We have enough things, and it's better to give it to them who actually need it this xmas - those who don't have money to buy good food or give their children presents.

But of course, the youngest in our family are getting presents as normal. Presents are most fun for them. Me and @pusen love to travel, so we are going to Copenhagen in March. Our present to each other - time and travel!

Do you make a little effort in wrapping presents?

Are you celebrating Christmas?

Thank you so much! :D

Love the cat picture! Stealing the show hahaha. Lovely gift wrapping @emuse.

Is this your first time visiting Copenhagen? I lived there for 2 years. Around 2012 to 14 .It was my first home away from home. And travelling there on March during spring time will be a great idea as the flowers blossoming that time in some of the tourist places. Can't wait to see some photos from there! ✨ I've been there 2 years ago to visit some friends and my host family. Before COVID 😂 Been longing Scandinavian countries. Can't wait to be back so soon 🤗✨🙏🏼

Have a great day to you and your cat 😸🐈

Thank you! :D

Yes, I have never been there before. I haven't been able to travel outside of y country in two years because of covid, so I hope it will be no difficulties to travel in March! I'm really excited to go in March too, so it wouldn't be as much tourism as in the summer! :D

The tips you give us to recycle materials and wrap gifts in a nice way are great, i would have loved to see that step by step when you were doing it. that way we learn more. i am also a fan of recycling wrapping paper and stuff like that, changing its shape, making it different, definitely wrapping gifts requires a good technique.

I linked them to the videos who showed me how :) I wrapped these last year, so I didn't think about making a tutorial! But I will do it next time :D
