Hello to all the friends of HIVE BLOG !!! . We continue to celebrate and enjoy these Christmas dates with the elaboration of simple decorations that embellish our home, office or business !! I sincerely hope that these proposals are useful to you and that you dare to surprise your family and friends with the preparation of each one of them.In this opportunity I will teach you how to make a beautiful mini Christmas tree, which is used to decorate any corner of our house, we can put a ribbon to hang it or we can omit it, it all depends on the area we want to decorate and the effect we want to achieve. They can even increase the size and use it as a centerpiece. An ideal project to give this Christmas! I have called it "triple" because each tree is in turn made up of three pieces, which are superimposed and sewn in the center to join them together.
MATERIALS
Tela, unicolor o con motivos
Entretela o pelón con pega (opcional)
Alfileres, Aguja de mano
Hilo de coser, Tijera
Bolígrafo, lápiz o marcador
Relleno antialérgico
Fabric, solid or patterned
Interlining or peel with glue (optional)
Pins, Hand needle
Sewing thread
Scissors
Pen, pencil, or marker
Anti-allergy filler
Step 1. The first thing I did was mark the tree design on the interfacing. The use of interlining is optional, it brings you more firmness to the fabric. I repeated this step three times for each little tree
Step 2. Using the iron, I fused the interfacing to the fabric. Then pass a straight seam around the outline of the design, leaving an opening at the bottom to be able to turn the piece to its right side
Step 3. The next thing I did, was to superimpose the three little trees and I joined them in the center with a straight seam. To achieve that This central seam will be as straight as possible, I folded the first tree in half and used that mark as a sewing guide line.
Step 4. After this, I proceeded to lightly fill the tree. I show you in the photo how the little tree looks with and without fill, both options are valid, I chose to fill it because I like it better that way. Remember to close the filling opening with knitting hidden
Step 5. The decoration is to personal taste. As a suggestion, you can put pearls, beads, sequins or any other appliqué available, especially Christmas fabrics do not need these additional decorations. Although I used a unicolor fabric for my little tree, I simply decorated it by placing a flower on the top as a star.
Este es el resultado final, estoy muy contenta como me quedo este mini-arbolito triple!!
This is the final result, I am very happy with how I am this triple mini-tree !!
Thank you very much for taking the time to read my post. May God bless you more and more every day !!
