Greetings, hivsartics. In today's installment I want to share with you a piece made with paint (I hope later to be able to buy watercolor paints, as they are my goal). I simply wanted to create a piece and listening to music (Spotify on shuffle), I have let myself get creative.
Why on book leaves is because I own a lot of books (some complete and some unleafed) in deplorable states that have been damaged by humidity and even some rodents, but knowing their state I decided to keep them, recycle their leaves and make art with them, apart from the one they already are. Because each book is a portal to learning, adventure or love.
For this issue N° 14 I present three pieces that relate and harmonize in a beautiful way, representing the evolution of the story of a woman finding what happiness means to her when she accepts love and starts a family. Although this concept of happiness is very common to find, we must keep in mind that having a stereotype of what happiness means is not entirely correct because for each person happiness represents different things and the standards are variable for each person. Even so, I was delighted to complete this work.
Saludos, hivsarticos. En la entrega de hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una obra hecha con pintura (espero más adelante poder comprar las pinturas de acuarela, ya que son mi objetivo). Simplemente quise crear una pieza y escuchando música (Spotify en aleatorio), me he dejado llevar por la creatividad.
El porqué sobre hojas de libros es debido a que poseeo muchos libros (algunos completos y algunos deshojados) en estados lamentables que se han dañado por la humedad e incluso algunos roedores, pero sabiendo su estado decidí quedarmelos, reciclar sus hojas y hacer arte con ellos, aparte de la que ya son. Porque cada libro es un portal a la enseñanza, a la aventura o al amor.
Para esta entrega N° 14 les presento tres piezas que se relacionan y armonizan de manera hermosa y es que representa la evolución de la historia de una mujer encontrando lo que para ella es la felicidad al aceptar el amor y formar una familia. Si bien este concepto de felicidad es muy común encontrarlo, debemos tener presente que tener un estereotipo de lo que significa la felicidad no es del todo correcto ya que para cada quien la felicidad representa cosas diferentes y los estandares son variables para cada persona. Aún así me encantó completar este trabajo. .

1. To begin we will gather all the materials on our work area, which of course must be clean, dry, well lit, quiet and free of distractions. The idea is to feel comfortable with the space to be able to carry out our work without inconveniences. Besides, the tranquility is for our creativity and inspiration to flow freely. In my case I usually paint in the early hours of the morning because the weather is cool, my anxiety appears at this late hour and this is my way to appease it, I also usually listen to music to feel even more at ease.
1. Para comenzar reuniremos todos los materiales sobre nuestra área de trabajo, que por supuesto debe estar limpio, seco, bien iluminado, ser tranquilo y libre de distracciones. La idea es sentirnos cómodos con el espacio para poder llevar a cabo nuestra obra sin inconvenientes. Además la tranquilidad es para que nuestra creatividad e inspiración fluyan con libertad. En mi caso suelo pintar en horas de la madrugada porque el clima es fresco, mi ansiedad aparece a estas altas horas y esta es mi manera de apaciguarla, también suelo escuchar música para sentirme incluso más a gusto.
2. In order to draw or paint accurately it is important to keep in mind the proportion of all our elements. In my case the first thing I did on each of the leaves was to draw some guide lines for the trees that will be an important part of each of our pieces.
2. Para poder dibujar o pintar con precisión es importante tener en cuenta la proporción de todos nuestros elementos. En mi caso lo primero que hice sobre cada una de las hojas fue dibujar algunas líneas guías para los arboles que serán una parte importante en cada una de nuestras piezas.
3. Then with the help of a small sponge I started to apply color. In this step I apply a layer of light brown paint, the idea was to give that touch of spontaneity to the piece, apply another technique and other materials. We followed the guide lines so as not to ruin or deform the drawing.
3. Luego con aduya de una pequeña esponja comencé a aplicar color. En este paso aplico una capa de pintura de color marron claro, la idea era darle ese toque de espontaneidad a la pieza, aplicar otra tecnica y otros materiales. Seguimos las líneas guías para no arruinar o deformar el dibujo.
3. A little later after the first coat dried, with a darker shade of brown we set the shadows and the solidity of the trees applying mostly on some lateral edges. It was the first time I used this technique and I must say that I made a mistake with one of the pieces but I managed to accommodate it and I know for the next one how it should be.
3. Un poco más tarde luego de quela primera capa se secara, con un tono de marron más oscuro establecemos las sombras y la solides de los arboles aplicando más que todo en algunos bordes laterales. Era primera vez que usaba esta tecnica y debo decir que me equivoqué con una de las piezas pero logré acomodarlo y ya sé para la siguiente como debe ser.
4. To proceed I applied color to what would become the leaves of the trees. I opted for colors other than the traditional green. For this I used pink for the first one (from left to right), blue for the middle one and light purple for the last one. I also used a sponge for this. I hope to use other techniques later and hopefully it will look better but I liked the colors a lot.
4. Para proceder apliqué color a lo que vendría a ser las hojas de los arboles. opté por colores diferentes al tradicional verde. Para esto utilicé el rosado para el primero (de izquierda a derecha), azul para el del medio y morado claro para el último. Utilicé de igual manera una esponja para esto. Luego espero utilizar otras tecnicas y espero quede mejor pero los colores me gustaron mucho.
5. This was not the initial plan, but seeing the result up to the previous past, I felt that more was missing in these pieces. So I decided to draw something extra for each one. At the bottom of the tree I added some characters and I loved the result.
5. Esto no era el plan inicial, pero al ver el resultado hasta el pasado anterior, sentí que faltaba más en estas piezas. Así que decidí dibujar algo extra para cada uno. Al pie del arbol agregue algunos personajes y el resultado me encantó.
6. Then with black paint and a very thin eyeliner I managed to paint the small figures without going outside the lines. For this I went over twice with black paint so that the color would be a little more solid. To finish I highlighted the color and fixed the Artemisart logo created on paper on the sheet with school glue.
6. Luego con pintura negra y un delineador muy fino logré pintar las pequeñas figuras sin salirme de las líneas. Para esto repasé dos veces con pintura negra para que el color fuera un poco más solido. Para finalizar resalté el color y fijé con pega escolar el logo de Artemisart creado en papel en la hoja.
