Hoy quiero contarles sobre una pequeña manualidad que hice para una persona súper importante para mi ❤️.
Hace días mi novio Gollo cumplió 30 años y decidí darle un regalo especial, aún cuando iba a ser un poquito perjudicial para mi, ya que a él le encanta cantar, se desestresa cantando pero no es que tenga una voz muy melodiosa jajajaja.

Days ago my boyfriend Gollo turned 30 and I decided to give him a special gift, even though it was going to be a little bit harmful for me, since he loves to sing, he de-stresses singing but it's not that he has a very melodious voice hahahaha.
Sin embargo es su hobby, a él le gusta y yo lo apoyo. Entonces conseguí una corneta pequeña personal que viene con micrófono incorporado y pensé que era el regalo perfecto para este año, porque como tenemos unos cuantos gastos encima no íbamos a hacer un gran cosa para ese día. Solo sería una pequeña tortica con nuestros amigos más íntimos junto a los papás de mi novio y nosotros dos.
Eso fue lo que me motivó aun más a elegir el mejor de los regalos para él, que en este caso fue esta corneta. Para hacerlo un poco más especial de lo que ya era, se me ocurrió la idea de envolverla con papel de regalo, el cual conseguí a muy buen precio. Utilicé dos pliegos porque la caja era bastante grande y con uno solo no iba a poder cubrir toda la superficie.
However it is his hobby, he likes it and I support it. So I got a small personal bugle that comes with a built in microphone and I thought it was the perfect gift for this year, because since we have a few expenses on top we weren't going to do a big thing for that day. It would just be a small tortica with our closest friends along with my boyfriend's parents and the two of us.
That's what motivated me even more to choose the best gift for him, which in this case was this bugle. To make it a little more special than it already was, I came up with the idea of wrapping it with wrapping paper, which I got at a very good price. I used two sheets because the box was quite big and with only one I was not going to be able to cover the whole surface.
También compré un lacito armable que me pareció bien curioso pues nunca lo había utilizado en otros regalos. Así que coloqué todos los materiales en la mesa para hacer esta pequeña manualidad y me puse manos a la obra.
I also bought a small bow that I found very curious because I had never used it in other gifts. So I placed all the materials on the table to make this little craft and got down to work.
Coloqué el primero de los pliegos cubriendo tres lados de la caja. Lo aseguré bien con cinta adhesiva y con la mano fui doblando con mucho cuidado los sobrantes del papel.
I placed the first sheet of paper covering three sides of the box. I secured it well with adhesive tape and carefully folded the excess paper with my hand.
Al tener bien ajustado el primer papel, agregué el segundo pliego y fui doblando igualmente los excedentes del mismo para que fueran en armonía con la caja.
Luego con una tijera corté algunos excedentes para que quedara bien la caja. Debo decir que no soy una experta envolviendo regalos pero hice mi mejor esfuerzo para que quedara lo más linda posible.
Once the first paper was well adjusted, I added the second sheet and folded the excess so that it would fit the box.
Then with a scissors I cut some of the excess so that the box would look good. I must say that I am not an expert at wrapping gifts but I did my best to make it look as nice as possible.
Así quedó bien envuelta la caja de la corneta, se ve bastante pareja y lo bueno es que el diseño que tiene papel ayuda a esconder cualquier imperfección que pueda presentar. Ahora es momento de agregarle el lazo.
It looks pretty even and the good thing is that the paper design helps to hide any imperfections it may have. Now it's time to add the ribbon.
Este lazo era bastante particular. Venía la cinta y en uno de los extremos tenía esta tirita que al tirar de ella iba formando el lazo. Es una forma bastante sencilla de hacer un lazo sin tener que esforzarse mucho y queda bien lindo armado. Este lo pegué en una de las esquinas de la caja.
This ribbon was quite particular. It came with a ribbon and at one of the ends it had this little strip that, when pulled, formed the bow. It is a fairly simple way to make a bow without having to make a lot of effort and it looks very nice assembled. I glued this one on one of the corners of the box.
También compré un globo que tenía la frase "Feliz Cumpleaños" el cual inflé con una bomba manual. Con el quería complementar la decoración del regalo o también podía dárselo aparte.
Al final decidí dárselo aparte porque no supe bien como incorporarlo al regalo o en que extremo de la caja se podría ver bien.
I also bought a balloon with the phrase "Happy Birthday" which I inflated with a hand pump. With it I wanted to complement the decoration of the gift or I could also give it separately.
In the end I decided to give it separately because I didn't know how to incorporate it into the gift or on which end of the box it would look good.
El regalo fue todo un éxito, a Gollo le gustó muchísimo, lo abrió en la pequeña celebración que hicimos y pasó toda la noche cantando. La verdad me alegra que le haya gustado pues siempre me gusta hacerle detalles que el vaya a querer y que le hagan falta o que vaya a disfrutar mucho como este en particular.
The gift was a success, Gollo liked it very much, he opened it in the little celebration we did and spent the whole night singing. I'm really glad he liked it because I always like to give him gifts that he will want and that he will need or that he will enjoy a lot, like this one in particular.
