My creative assignment today was to turn a plastic kitchen spoon into a functional trash shovel at my work desk.
Con Hive he podido ayudar mi economía, no sólo por las recompensas sino también porque he podido cubrir muchas necesidades del hogar reciclando, inventando, creando, aprendiendo de los demas hivers en las comunidades @gems, @build-it, @diyhub, entre otras.
Mi tarea creativa de hoy fue converir una cuchara plástica de cocina en una funcional pala para recoger residuos en mi escritorio de trabajo.

The first step consisted of turning the kitchen spoon into "L", for this cut the handle and then glue it to the base. I also used the sandpaper and a dremel to sharpen the lower tip of the shovel so that the residue goes up without getting in the way.
El primer paso consistió en convertir la cuchara de cocina en "L", para ésto corte el mango y luego lo pegue a la base. También utilicé la lija y un dremel para afilar la punta inferior de la pala de manera que, los residuos suban sin estorbo.
The second step was to cut strips of the CD cartridge and fix it to the sides and the back of the spoon so that the garbage or debris does not come out when inserting them. For this I used heat from a lighter to give the plastic curvature and make no resistance when gluing it.
El segundo paso fue cortar tiras del cartucho de CD y fijarlo a los laterales y a la parte trasera de la cuchara para que la basura o residuos no se salgan al introducirlas. Para ésto utilicé calor de un encendedor para darle curvatura al plástico y no haga resistencia a la hora de pegarla.
