Para nuestra familia es una fecha muy especial que no queremos dejar pasar sin hacer una pequeña celebración. Ya que me encanta hacer manualidades decidí elaborar las decoraciones y algunos souvenirs para entregarlos de recuerdo a nuestros familiares y amigos.
Blessed day Hive creative friends, welcome once again to my blog. I am happy to be back to share with you a little bit of my crafts. Next month will be the birthday of my youngest daughter, my pretty girl as I call her. She will be turning the most beautiful and dreamed age for every young lady, the so longed for 15 years old. In Latin America this is a very important celebration with many traditions.
For our family it is a very special date that we don't want to let pass without a little celebration. Since I love making crafts I decided to elaborate the decorations and some souvenirs to give as a souvenir to our family and friends.

A souvenir is an object that is given as a souvenir of a place, trip or event that you attend to remember that experience. This souvenir model that I share with you today is very easy and simple to make, however this is only a test prototype. My daughter and I have very different tastes so it has not been an easy task to reach an agreement. At the moment we have agreed on the colors (gold and light blue) and we have just agreed on the butterflies.
We will be making some different models and then we will decide which one will be the right one, I hope you can help us and give us ideas to improve our models.

Mark the lid and the base of the box on the frosted foami, cut them out and then place them inside the box.
For the inside of the lid of the box I placed some paper tape between the frosted foami and the lid, then I made some loops with the help of a scissors. This is so that when you uncover the box you can see this kind of garland inside.
The next step was to decorate the lid of the box on the outside. For this I used the thick gold ribbon to make the bow, some light blue ribbon, some tull and a pretty little blue flower.
The last step was to decorate the box with a little thinner gold ribbon and some light blue butterflies.

In this quick and easy way, a simple cardboard box is transformed into a beautiful and delicate birthday souvenir, ideal to put inside some candies or chocolate chocolates. I hope you like this project and give me some ideas to improve it. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
