How are you all friends? Good health and success. Thank you Diy Community. Occasion it is my first time join this community and will try to share experience in making a shelf from wood planks.
Made this shelf for store car maintainance tools, make shelves like this using manual and simple tools, such as engine cleaners,grease,car interior cleaners,oil reserves and others. Before starting to make work,first make a sketch of the image to make it easier to carry out the work.
After the sketch drawing in complete,prepare tools to support the work such,as tape messure,pencil,saw,hammer,sand paper,paint.
Next stage is preparing the planks wood material, I use unused used plank wood. Then start measuring the wooden planks according to the sketch of the drawing.
The carpenter start cutting the long board first there are two boards as a frame. Then cutting as many as four boards as shelves. After the wooden planks are cut.
The next job is sanding the wood to make it look clears. The next job is to install and make a board shelf with other board. Then the wooden board are nailed so that they are strong and form a shelf.
After all the wooden boards have been nailed and the shelf is strong, then the shelf is in stalled on the garage wall. Finally the shelf is painted.
