The contractor arrived just before 3PM and went to work enlarging the 6” holes so the pipes would go in. Then he and I cut pipes and glued them together.
We discovered that the 6” 45° elbows I’d finally found have a 6¾” I.D. and are far too big to use. I will have to return them.
As we were assembling what we did have, it slipped sideways and we realized we could leave it like that and not bother with 45° elbows on the outside.
So they will lean like this.
I now have to find another 90° elbow and (2) 45° elbows to finish the work inside. That will have to wait until Monday, when I find out about returning the too big ones.
At least this job is done, except the caulking. We can’t do that until we finished putting the inside part together.
