Hi needle workers!!! I've been so interested in making the granny square stitches, tried it the first time and it came out looking so miserable hehe!!! (I'm not exaggerating) just saying the truth.

So I decided to try it this time, I started with so many failed attempts but then giving up isn't part of my genre, so I didn't give up though there were many reasons to.

Enough of my stories, let's get to the making of my heart granny square stitches.

Materials used

Yarns
Crochet needle

I started by making a slip-knot, and then I moved further by making four chains, I moved my crochet needle back to the very first chain and made a slip stitch to form a ring.

After making the ring, I made a chain of three and eleven double-crochet, which in total is twelve double-crochet cause the three chains I made earlier counted as one double-crochet then I joined the edge with a slip stitch.

After that, I was done with the first row and it was time for the second row, I skipped the first two stitches, and inside the third, I made eight treble crochets, inside the fourth I made a half double and inside the fifth, I made a single crochet.

Inside the sixth stitch, I made two treble crochet two chains and another two treble crochet, I moved further to the other half to complete the heart, I repeated the same process but this time I repeated it backward, which came out looking like a real heart.

Now it was time to make the granny square stitches, I started by making a slip knot with my other colored yarn and pulling it through into the fourth stitch of my heart shape. Then I made a chain of three and a double crochet inside the same stitch.

For the next two stitches, I made one-half-double crochet and one single crochet then for the next stitch I made two double crochet two chains, and two double crochet which will create a space. I went further in making the same process as what I explained till it got to the last stitch then I joined the edges with a slip stitch.

For the next two rows, I made a chain of three and nine double crochet inside the next nine stitches, in the place where I made the space, I made two double crochet two chains and two double crochet, I repeated the same process till I was done with my heart granny square stitches.

This is just the beginning of my Granny Square stitches journey, I intend to go further by creating amazing things with it but then this is the basics so I had to start with the basics.
