After a stressful weekend, I have to get back to work. Now I have begun to understand why it is said to do what you have a passion for because right about now my morale isn't high at all.

Therefore, Happy Monday! It's @needleworkmonday o'clock and a brand new week filled with opportunities waiting for you to seize. Remember, your goals are within reach, and every step you take today brings you closer to your dreams. Embrace the challenges, stay positive, and let your passion drive you towards success. You've got this!
Now let me brighten your day with this beautiful peplum top I made which you can use to rock skirts, trousers, or shorts.
Materials needed;
- Pattern drafting paper
- Pencils
- Scissor
- Three yard of African print
- Three Yards of Lining
- One Yard of wadding
- Matching Colour thread.
I drafted my client's body measurements on my pattern paper. When I have made all alterations then I cut.
After that, I placed my pattern paper on the fabric and transferred it to my fabric. When I was done cutting on my fashion fabric I cut the lining.
The down of my peplum top is a full-circle flare adding to her waist measurement to have kissing pleating. Then I cut the full-circle flare, to see how wide it was below.
I cut wadding for the half-length of the top to give it perfect padding and pressed hard with iron to stick to the fabric.
Then, I started joining the pieces one after the other. First, the front pieces are joined and pressed, and the back pieces are joined and then attached together by the shoulder.
The hand is a straight-sleeve, coupled with puffed and then a band at the end of the sleeve. So, I shaped the body to fit her.
Take a sneak peek of the end result, hope you like it? I aforementioned you can use it to rock skirts, trousers, or shorts.
Remember, tough times don't last forever, and you have the strength to overcome challenges. Keep pushing forward, one step at a time.
Till I write to you again, love you all🥰
