Hello guys. I'm back in this community after a week and this is my post for the Needlework Monday contest. Hope you are all doing well. It's sunny today and I've been sitting in the sun since morning enjoying the sun's rays. You remember last time I did an embroidery of orange cremon flowers and my embroidery got a lot of appreciation because I designed it very neatly and beautifully. As you may have guessed from the title, Today I have embroidered red poppy flowers. I made this embroidery sitting in the sun rays and had a lot of fun. I used yellow and red thread to make these flowers and green thread to make the leaves. Hope you will like this embroidery of mine. Let's start with the procedure.
Procedure
I woke up in the morning and saw that the sun had risen after many days and I was happy to see the rays of the sun. After breakfast I sat in the sun and after some time I started feeling sleepy again. I decided to embroider to get rid of sleep and for my entry in the Needlework Monday contest. I gathered all the things to embroider and started thinking about what kind of flower to design. Finally I started sketching and after about 20 minutes I had a nice and beautiful sketch.
After completing the sketch, I looked at the colorful threads lying around to see which thread should be used to embroider these flowers. Then I saw that the shape of the leaves of these flowers is similar to the leaves of poppy flowers, so I decided to embroider these flowers with red thread and one of the reasons for selecting this thread is that red thread looks quite attractive.
Today I have embroidered these flowers in different way. Hope you like this method of embroidering flower leaves. This is my first time embroidering flowers in this way so it took a little longer to embroider these flowers but it was quite satisfying. After I finished embroidering these flowers, I was looking at them closely. By embroidering the leaves in this way, they look very sophisticated and beautiful.
After finishing embroidering the flowers, I put the green thread in the needle and started embroidering the leaves. I wanted to do a full filling of the leaves but I liked the flowers so much that I embroidered the leaves in the same style. After completing the embroidery of the leaves, I realized that I had made a good decision to design the leaves in the same style. Finally I embroidered the inside of the flowers with yellow thread and this stitch is my favourite. It took me almost more than two hours to complete this embroidery and I had a lot of fun making this embroidery. Hope you will like this embroidery of mine. I will be waiting for your feedback.
