Hoy tengo un gran motivo para estar muy feliz, con un poco de esfuerzo he adquirido una máquina de coser, no es nueva, pero está en perfecta condiciones y aunque amo coser a mano, no cabe duda , que de ahora en adelante tenerla me ayudara mucho en mis trabajos de costura, espero acostumbrarme pronto a ella... Para estrenarla he confeccionado un lindo short falda con volante frontal cruzado para mí pequeña hija quien ha crecido mucho estos últimos días y necesita mucha ropita. Los shorts con volantes se han vuelto muy populares en ropas infantiles y como no, si son ideales durante paseos al aire libre o simplemente para estar cómodo en casa durante los días calurosos. Su estilo divertido y coqueto los convierte en una excelente opción para quien busca una prenda fresca. Este diseño me recuerda que en mi infancia mi abuela me cosía muchos shorts como éste y a mi me encanta usarlos, decidí recordar cómo los hacía en este proyecto empleando tecnicas sencillas y rápidas que te ayudarán mucho si es de tu agrado está prenda para niñas.. To debut it, I have made a cute short skirt with a crossed front ruffle for my little daughter who has grown a lot in recent days and needs a lot of clothes. Ruffled shorts have become very popular in children's clothing and of course, they are ideal during outdoor walks or simply to be comfortable at home during hot days. Their fun and flirty style makes them an excellent option for those looking for a fresh garment. This design reminds me that in my childhood my grandmother sewed me many shorts like this and I love wearing them, I decided to remember how she made them in this project using simple and quick techniques that will help you a lot if you like this garment for girls. Materiales que necesitas: Materials you need:
- Tela de algodón.
- Tijeras.
- Hilo y aguja.
- Elástica.
- Cotton fabric.

(PROCEDIMIENTO)
Paso 01
Lo primero que necesitamos es una pantalón de base.. Podemos trazar uno, pero a mí me gusta siempre utilizar una prenda de uso diario de mi niña pues tengo medidas precisas. Estiro muy bien sobre la tela doblada a la mitad y corto todo el contorno dejando 1cm de distancia del patrón. De esta manera tendremos dos piezas traseras y repetimos el paso para cortar dos piezas delanteras. También cortamos una tira del largo de parte superior por el ancho de la elástica. Cortamos una pieza delantera con curva tomando las medidas al ancho del short.
Step 01
The first thing we need is a pair of basic pants. We can design one, but I always like to use a garment that my girl wears every day because I have precise measurements. I stretch very well on the fabric folded in half and cut the entire outline leaving 1cm of distance from the pattern. In this way we will have two back pieces and we repeat the step to cut two front pieces. We also cut a strip the length of the top by the width of the elastic. We cut a front piece with a curve taking the measurements to the width of the shorts.
Paso 02
Ahora hacemos una costura uniendo los cortes que van desde la pretina hasta la parte baja de las partes traseras del short. Y de la misma menera cosemos las piezas delanteras.
Step 02
Now we make a seam joining the cuts that go from the waistband to the bottom of the back parts of the shorts. And in the same way we sew the front pieces.
Paso 03
Corta una tira larga y arrucha o frunce con una costura hilvanada tomando la medida d de largo del corte curvo de la pieza delantera. Hacemos la costura para unirla como el volante cruzado delantero y también pasamos una costura en la parte superior para definir o pisar cada pliegue.
Step 03
Cut a long strip and crease or gather with a basted seam taking the length measurement d of the curved cut of the front piece. We make the seam to join it as the front cross ruffle and we also pass a seam on the top to define or step each fold.
Paso 04
Colocamos está pieza sobre ambas partes delanteras y enfrentamos los derechos de las telas, nos ayudamos con sujetadores para fijar las partes y pasamos costura laterales y el fundillo. Cosemos la pretina, dejando un pequeño orificio para introducir la elástica.
Step 04
We place this piece on both front parts and face the right sides of the fabrics, we use fasteners to fix the parts and we sew the side seams and the hem. We sew the waistband, leaving a small hole to insert the elastic.
Paso 05
Ajustamos la pretina acordé al tamaño d ella goma y sellamos con costura el orificio. Decoramos la parte delantera con el aplique de su preferencia.. Mi hija me pidió una flor.. Hacemos el dobladillo de la parte inferior de cada pierna .
Step 05
We adjust the waistband according to the size of the elastic and sew the hole. We decorate the front part with the applique of your choice. My daughter asked me for a flower. We hem the bottom of each leg.

No es la primera vez que coso a máquina, pero si es la primera que coso en una máquina de mi propiedad y la verdad me emocioné mucho... Estoy encantada con el resultado aunque tengo que mejorar un poco mi equilibrio jaja. Lo importante como siempre es que mi niña estaba muy feliz.
