Hello everyone. Hope you all are doing good and enjoying good mental health. The tutorial I am going to share today is not the part of series I started before i.e ( learning complex crochet patterns). This is a regular fish keychain that I made for my brother. I told you guys before that I am going back to hostel so I made a little gift for my brother.
I made the fish with two color yarn to make it look more attractive. The basics are pretty same i .e. making mgr and 6sc then in second round making inc st and in third 1sc and 1 inc.
After three rounds i changed the color and did sc for next three rounds. Then again I repeated same pattern until I got 5 rounds.
After that I did decrease st. This time I learnt a new way to do dec st. Because the one i knew always makes my work a bit messy at the end. So I had to close the circle with needle. But this method is so good I did not effect the look and neatness.
So this dec st is done by taking two back loops of two st and pulling the yarn through two of them at once. This makes a dec st very neat.
After that I made the eyes and smile with needle . And at the end I closed the back of fish by sc and then I made the tail using dc.
Before closing I stuffed it with polyester. The more the polyester the more better. I put alot of polyster in this little keychain.
After that I made the fins of fish.During fins I had to follow pattern of 3hdc in one st 2dc and them sc and then slip stich. It was difficult because it is not easy to find the stitches where fins are meant to be made . I am planning to sell these amugrumis that's why I am trying my best to leave not a single mistake. This fish is a kind of perfection (😊) for me.
