Tampoco he hecho algo asi en mi vida, asi que te contaré mi lo que viví, que se me hizo mas dificil, cuantas veces me corté o puyé con la aguja, si me dio tiempo hacerlo.. ¡TODO, TE LO CONTARÉ TODO! 😊

Dia 1
Lo primero, es contar un poco sobre las razones por las que lo hago. Es en parte por necesidad y en parte por aprovechar la oportunidad de aprender. Los coloco en contexto, tengo este pequeño bolso anaranjado que compré por 2,50 $ usd y resultó bastante bueno, pero por mucho que fuí cuidadoso terminó rompiéndose.
Por otro lado, en la limpieza de la casa que les comenté que estaba haciendo con mi mamá, conseguimos este pantalón, que honestamente estaba aun bueno, aunque ya que no lo íbamos a usar (soy gordito, no me entra) decidimos reciclarlo y ahí vi la oportunidad de rehacer mi bolso 😊

Lo primero fue abrir una de las piernas del pantalón, para ver mejor la cantidad de tela de la que disponia. Me sorprendí bastante, a decir verdad es mucho mas tela de lo que yo esperaba, asi que simplemente puse el bolso encima y dije:
"bueno, tengo para la parte frontal y la parte trasera, comenzaré"
Y si, no pensé en que el bolso son muchas mas partes que eso, aunque igualmente me puse a desarmar el bolso 😂
The first thing was to open one of the pants legs, to better see the amount of fabric available. I was quite surprised, to tell the truth it is much more fabric than I expected, so I just put the bag on top and said:
"well I have for the front and the back, I'll start"
And yes, I did not think that the bag is many more parts than that, although I still started to disassemble the bag 😂
Tampoco soy tan tonto, iba desarmando y marcando con marcador que era cada pieza y asi al momento de pasarla a jeans poder saber exactamente dónde iban 😊
I'm not that stupid either, I was disassembling and marking with a marker what each piece was and so when I transferred it to jeans I could know exactly where they were going 😊
Algo que hice, fue extender el frontal y el trasero unos 7 centímetros. Asi conseguiría un bolso un poco mas largo, ya que en el original se veía extraño, creo que era un modelo para niños o algo parecido

Luego que había cortado todas las piezas, empecé a armar el bolso. La mejor forma de hacerlo es con grapas, esto es algo que recomendaré siempre, hace todo mucho mas comodo y fácil grapar las uniones 😊
After I had cut all the pieces, I started to assemble the bag. The best way to do it is with staples, this is something that I will always recommend, it makes everything much more comfortable and easy to staple the joints 😊
Y cuando pensaba que iba super adelantado, ocurrió lo impensable, pegué el cierre al revés.. ¡LO ARRUINÉ!
En realidad, solo está grapado, asi que tiene solución, aunque en este punto decidí descansar, tengan en cuenta que todo lo que han visto hasta ahora lo hice desde las 8:00 pm con una luz no acta para estos trabajos. Asi que entendí que no fue un error intelectual por decirlo de alguna manera, simplemente era cansancio, era hora de dormir 😊
And just when I thought I was going super early, the unthinkable happened, I glued the zipper backwards... I RUINED IT!

So I understood that it was not an intellectual error to put it in some way, it was simply tired, it was time to sleep 😊
Dia 2
Al dia siguiente no tenia ganas de iniciar con el cierre, esta semana estoy cansado de cierres 😂
Asi que me puse a unir las partes del bolsillo que va en la parte exterior del bolso, a este punto todavía estaba utilizando grapas 😊
The next day I didn't feel like starting with the closure, this week I'm tired of closures 😂
So I started to join the parts of the pocket that goes on the outside of the bag, at this point I was still using staples 😊
Otra cosa que hice fue formar estas partes, no tengo ni idea de como se llaman, aunque sé que sirven para sostener la parte inferior de las correas. Y aquí cometí mi primer error, resulta que estas partes iban embutidas..

El dia tres comenzó bien, estaba muy entusiasmado y con ganas de avanzar mucho. Ya había seleccionado todos los hilos y había hecho pruebas par saber con que hilo iba a realizar las primeras costuras. Todo parecía ir sobre ruedas 😁
Day three started well, I was very excited and wanting to make a lot of progress. He had already selected all the threads and had done tests to find out with which thread he was going to make the first seams. Everything seemed to go smoothly 😁
Y de repente, mi hija, alias "la puro cachete" llegó de sorpresa 😍
No me mal entiendan, me descontroló un poco los planes, aunque me encanta que llegue de visita, pasamos la tarde jugando juntos y en ese momento estaba jugando con mi mamá a las llamadas telefónicas 😊
Asi que si, ese día no logré hacer mas nada 😂
And suddenly, my daughter, aka "la puro cheeke" came as a surprise 😍
Don't get me wrong, she messed up my plans a bit, although I love that she comes to visit, we spent the afternoon playing together and at that moment I was playing phone calls with my mom 😊
So yes, that day I couldn't do anything else 😂
Dia 4
El día 4 lo iniciamos mal, porque se corto la electricidad en nuestro sector debido a las fuertes lluvias, aunque eso no me detuvo, aun quedaba algo de luz de día, asi que me senté en la puerta de atrás a terminar de coser el cierre. Todo esto junto a mi compañero canino Obama 😂
On day 4 we started it badly, because the electricity was cut in our sector due to heavy rains, although that did not stop me, there was still some daylight left, so I sat at the back door to finish sewing the zipper. . All this with my canine companion Obama 😂
Unas horas más tarde, volvieron a colocar la electricidad y pude volver a la mesa de trabajo a terminar el bolsillo exterior, realmente solo es unir las partes y coser los bordes. Esto no va a resistir grandes presiones asi que no me importa mucho hacer puntadas largas a modo de decoración 😊
A few hours later the power was turned back on and I was able to go back to the workbench to finish the outside pocket, really just putting the parts together and sewing the edges. This won't hold up to a lot of pressure so I don't really mind making long stitches for decoration 😊
Ya a este punto tenia todo prácticamente terminado, solo era cuestión de reforzar todas las costuras con hilo nylon. Sé que éste no es el que se utiliza para costura, aunque era el que tenia por casa y realmente resiste muy bien en las uniones. Y así terminó mi noche del dia 4.
At this point I had everything practically finished, it was just a matter of reinforcing all the seams with nylon thread. I know that this is not the one used for sewing, although it was the one I had at home and it really resists very well in the joints. And so ended my night of day 4.
Dia 5
El dia 5 empezó diferente, ya faltaban solo 2 noches para un viaje donde pensaba colocar a prueba mi creación, asi que me puse a lavar, organizar y anotar todo lo que me iba a llevar. Que aqui quiero decir que esté envase de Cloro está saliendo muy bueno y cuesta muy barato 😂
Y tambien me quité mucho cabello, que luego parece que soy calvo, pero realmente si tengo bastante cabello 😊
Day 5 started differently, there were only 2 nights left for a trip where I planned to put my creation to the test, so I started to wash, organize and write down everything I was going to take. That here I want to say that this Chlorine container is coming out very good and costs very cheap 😂
And I also removed a lot of hair, which later seems like I'm bald, but I really do have a lot of hair 😊
Ya habiendo cosido todo con el hilo nylon, solo me faltaba coser el bolsillos del frente y las correas. Lo que pensé que sería bastante sencillo y rapido. Asi que me tome el tiempo de decorar con pequeños detalles, como lo es éste pequeño trozo de tela con la marca de Navy, que venía originalmente en el bolsillo pequeño del pantalón 😊
Having already sewn everything with the nylon thread, I only needed to sew the front pockets and the straps. Which I thought would be pretty simple and quick. So I took the time to decorate with small details, like this small piece of fabric with the Navy brand, which originally came in the small pocket of the pants 😊
Según yo, había hecho mucho ese dia, asi que sin estar cansado, decidí finalizar el día con un trozo de torta selva negra, más concretamente una que vende mi vecina y que lo crean o no, la vende congelada. Parece una locura, aunque a medida que se descongela se vuelve cremosa como un brownie, es una maravilla que espero poder replicar 😍
According to me, I had done a lot that day, so without being tired, I decided to end the day with a piece of black forest cake, more specifically one that my neighbor sells and believe it or not, she sells it frozen. Dia 6
El último día antes de mi viaje había llegado. La noche anterior parecía que iba a tener una culminación rapida y simple, pero no..
Resulta que las puntas de las correas originales estaban algo rotas, asi que tuve que hacerles un refuerzo y eso quiere decir que mucha tela estará en un mismo lugar. En resumidas cuentas, entre mas gruesa esté la tela, más tiempo me llevará coserla

A esa hora culminé el bolso y nada mas acabar, comí. Si, asi era mi determinación y deseos de acabar que hasta me había olvidado de cenar. Cosa bastante rara en un gordo 😂
En fin, que logré terminar a tiempo y te dejaré un apartado con imágenes individuales del bolso para que lo veas en detalle 😊
¿Lo volvería a hacer? Si, cuando tenga mi propia maquina de coser. A mano es un trabajo interminable y no se logra el aspecto de fabrica que se suele buscar, aunque debo admitir que esto durará mucho mas tiempo que un bolso comprado, calculando a groso modo, puedo decir que el pantalón tenia unos 10 años y estaba perfecto, asi que al menos 10 años mas podrá aguantar 😊

By hand it is an endless job and the factory look that is usually sought is not achieved, although I must admit that this will last much longer than a purchased bag, roughly calculating, I can say that the pants were about 10 years old and they were perfect , so at least 10 more years will be able to endure 😊
