Good morning everyone, hope we had a nice night? I bring to you again this morning my latest creative design. A CHINESE OUTFIT.
I've never try such neck before, it was a task for me because I had to think and think on how to create such neck and make it very neat.
I've seen people rock kaftan with such neck and am like one day I'm going to make something like that too. Fortunately for me a CLIENT sent me a sample of this particular design, I was laughing in my mind and I said no problem, then I started thinking how to make it.
I was happy I made it, it was very neat and the client also love it.
I will be sharing with you how I made this beautiful outfit
MATERIALS USER
- Fabric (Irish material) Royal blue and white
- hair stay
- thread
CUTTING AND SEWING PROCESS
Its just a normal process of cutting a kaftan, just that the neck will be trimmed to the v-shape.
So after I'd done that, I turned inside the neck using a piece of material.
I cut a straight piece of white, made the width 5 inches then I applied hair stay and folded it into two, then I arranged it under the v-shape neck, following the shape well and I sew
After that had been achieved which is the major work,then I joined to the shoulder, I also joined some white pieces to the sleeves and then I joined the sleeve the shoulder also and close the body
