Hello to all the needle lovers!
Today I want to share with you my amazing experience in making an amigurumi I made for my son @mike.cupcakes.

Mi hijo Mike es un muchacho muy emprendedor, desde los 20 años abrió su propio negocio de repostería y he visto como mejora día tras día en su trabajo. Cuando su padre falleció, tomó las riendas de la casa y tan joven salió adelante con su negocio y por la crisis económica del país tuvo que emigrar a empezar desde cero en tierras lejanas.

My son Mike is a very enterprising boy, since he was 20 years old he opened his own bakery business and I have seen how he improves day after day in his work. When his father passed away, he took over the reins of the house and at a very young age he got ahead with his business and due to the economic crisis of the country he had to emigrate to start from scratch in distant lands.

Hoy puedo decir que me siento orgullosa de ser su madre y una bonita forma de demostrarle mi amor en esta época navideña fue hacer su pequeño amigurumi. El pequeño Mike es su avatar para la marca @mike.cupcakes.

Today I can say that I am proud to be his mom and a nice way to show him my love this holiday season was to make his little amigurumi. Little Mike is her avatar for the @mike.cupcakes brand.

Hacer este pequeño mike fue un poco complicado ya que es el primer trabajo en 3 dimensiones que hago, es decir, todo lo que he hecho tejido o es para vestir o es plano. Así que hacer sus pequeñas piernas de lana color negro, que hacen el pantalón de Mike fue todo un reto. Primero me salió una más grande que la otra. Al tercer intento me quedó bien.

Making this little mike was a bit complicated since it is the first 3 dimensional work I have done, that is to say, everything I have knitted is either for dress or flat. So making his little black wool legs, which make Mike's pants, was quite a challenge. First one came out bigger than the other. By the third try it was just right.

Luego la cabeza no me quedaba acorde con el cuerpo. Se veía cabezón o después con una cabeza muy pequeña. Una vez que supe cual era el tamaño ideal para la cabeza hice su cabello gris y quedó terminado. He aprendido mucho con esta experiencia y espero poder hacer otros trabajos como este en el futuro.

Then the head didn't fit my body. It looked big-headed or too small a head. Once I knew what was the ideal size for the head I made his hair gray and it was finished. I learned a lot from this experience and I hope to be able to do other jobs like this in the future.
