Hi, I'm My Teenages. Today I want to show you a Keroppi amigurumi that I made to continue with the Sanrio collection and come back with the amigurumis that I love to make so much.
After making “Kuromi” for my friend, I wanted to search the YouTube channel for the tutorial and found that it had videos of the other Sanrio characters and decided to continue with the collection. I started with “Keroppi” because although he is not my favorite character, he is one that I really like aesthetically and a keychain of him would look very nice on my backpack jsjs.
Making the head was easy, although I was thinking “when does it end?” And being a caricature it is normal that his head is not proportional, but you don't realize that until the turns and low stitches don't stop for a while... The body was not complicated either, just a change of color to simulate the clothes; I had not done something similar before, but I really liked the result.
The legs were complicated to make, but they were totally worth it because they turned out very nice and I love the effect when sewing it that simulates that it is walking. The same with the eyes was difficult and the hands hurt me a lot afterwards, but I love the effect it gives and I feel that it gives the fidelity of the character's design. The little hands and the flower were much easier and so I could rest my hands which, by the way, were already asking for a rest since I did all the parts in one day. I think that after the mini bag I needed to redeem myself and make something that I was sure would look nice.
I really liked the result, it was something relatively new in my amiguirumis designs and I really enjoyed making it. The keroppi already has its designated place in my backpack and in one of my purses, I can't wait to use it, thanks for reading and giving me a little of your time.
