Hi, I'm My Teenages. Today I'm going to show you another little gift I wanted to give to my big brother for his birthday. 💕
Tutorial que seguí para hacer a Luffy
My brother has been an anime lover since he was a teenager, and at the age of 22 he has seen an exorbitant amount of anime. So I thought that for my gift I could knit him one of the anime characters he likes the most, I decided to knit him “Luffy” from “One Piece”. Mainly because I really like his design, but also because my brother tells me about the anime he watches, but “One Piece” with 1120 episodes (so far) is one of the series he has told me about and shown me the most and I have to admit that now even I like it. The only thing that stops me from watching it is how long this series is.
I liked the idea of making it small so I could use it as a keychain, but I didn't like the difficulty jsjsjs. It was the first time I knitted something so small and with that amount of detail and it was difficult. Maneuvering the needle was difficult and there came a point where even with glasses I was not able to see well what I was doing, and I think that for the same reason there are stitches that are not quite right. No doubt I underestimated it and thought I could do it in less than a day, but what was my surprise to see that it really took me 3 days to finish it.
And I think I had a bad choice with the needle; I used a 2.5 needle with a 1 mm yarn and at first it looked fine, but when I put the stuffing, which by the way was quite hard to do, the fabric started to open up and the stuffing could be seen between the stitches. I have to admit that for some reason I am a perfectionist with amigurumis, and I say for some reason because I am not normally like that, so I was very unhappy to see this defect, but I was running out of time so I could not start all over again. On the other hand, it was also the first time I made hair and although the process is weird, I quite enjoyed doing it.
In spite of everything, my brother liked it a lot and this time it was a surprise jsjsjs, this time I took care not to leave it in sight. He really liked the details and now this one also has a place in his desk because he decided not to use it as a key ring to avoid damaging it. Thanks for reading and giving me a little of your time. I hope you liked this project and had a little fun. ❤️ I wish you a nice life, bye!
