Failed project: A pincushion//Proyecto fallido:Un alfiletero[ENG-ESP]

Hello 😀! Today I'm sharing with you an experience of a failed project. I wanted to share the steps to make a pumpkin 🎃 out of jeans, continuing to recycle. And I didn't make it for today. But like everything in this life whatever happens to us, we should be able to learn from mistakes. I have decided, as a catharsis, to make a recount of what happened to me for not getting the desired project.

¡Hola 😀! Hoy les comparto una experiencia de un proyecto fallido. Quise compartir los pasos para hacer una calabaza 🎃 de jeans, continuando con el reciclaje. Y no lo logré para hoy. Pero como todo en esta vida lo que nos ocurra, debemos ser capaz de aprender de los errores. He decidido, como catarsis, realizar un recuento de lo que me ocurrió para no obtener el proyecto deseado.

Yesterday morning went normally. In the afternoon between 2 and 4 there was a power rationing, where I took the opportunity to review my art room looking to sort all the jeans in one place, but as one sees some scraps and others I entertain more than I should, and nothing concrete to do, although in my mind for several days is pending to make a pumpkin of jeans of a larger size than those made.

En la mañana de ayer se desarrolló normalmente. En la tarde entre las 2 y las 4 hubo un racionamiento de energía eléctrica, donde aproveché de revisar mi cuarto de arte buscando ordenar todos los jeans en un solo sitio, pero a medida que uno ve unos retazos y otros me entretengo más de lo debido, y no concreto nada que hacer, aunque en mi mente desde hace varios días está pendiente hacer una calabaza de jeans de un tamaño mayor a las realizadas.

After dinner, I settle in to watch the major league game, Yankees vs. Cleveland.

I did a pumpkin patch with 06 circles on a scrap of jeans, cut them out and proceeded to machine stitch them. When I flipped the piece over and stuffed, I didn't like the result, I did something wrong, it's not a circle.

Después de cenar, me instalo a ver el juego de la liga mayor, los Yankees vs. Cleveland.

Hice una prueba de calabaza con 06 círculos sobre un retazo de jeans, los corté y procedí a coserlas a máquina. Cuando volteo la pieza y relleno, no me gustó el resultado, hice algo malo, no es un círculo.

In the meantime, the baseball game was progressing.

I looked for information in the networks. I saw several photos, I should have made semicircles in the form of crescent moons, but the game was already over with the following result.

Busqué información en las redes. Vi varias fotos, debí hacer semicírculos en forma de medias lunas, pero ya había terminado el juego con el siguiente resultado.

A bit discouraged, I looked for more scraps and traced and cut out the crescents to sew another day. I'll let you know if it turns out that way.

Un poco desanimada, busqué más retazos y tracé y corté las medias lunas para coser otro día. Ese día les haré saber si así resulta.

What I did was to finish the supposed pumpkin 🎃 in pincushion, since the one with the filling was hard, and they did not fit. Although I wasn't thrilled with the result, at least it's useful.

Lo que hice fue terminar la supuesta calabaza 🎃 en alfiletero, ya que la que tenía el relleno estaba duro, y no entraban. Aunque no quedé encantada con el resultado, por lo menos es de utilidad.
