Happy weekend to you all. How are you enjoying your weekend? I how is great. If you care about mind it is going on well.
With joy in my heart i fell do much happy to sharing with you guys this week project the i just finished doing.

This is a sienna seat and if you know the car you, the are 6 seat inside the car and i love it when i get such work because all the six seat come with the same pattern. That is to say all the side cover are the same and can be used to cover anyone. So when sewing if i always make use of only one of the seat to form a pattern and the trace it into six different pattern.

Here is the seat before

This seat was very rough, the owner told me he refused to do the seat not because he did not have money but did not see a trusted person to give due to because someone has spoil is seat before that make Him afraid untill he saw a work i did for is friend that is when i change is mind to work on the seat. He said he trust me i should not disappoint him and i promise never to disappoint him. And to fulfill my promise here is what i delivery to him

To be sincere it was very statisfy with the seat and promise to work with me, wow that was a nice one.

This project took me 4days to complete it due to because some part if the seat cut off so i need to form the form to maintain the shape of the seat.

Let look at some steps i took to achieve this project

Has i mentioned before since all the seat are the same i will be using one of the seat to explain my steps and the will be applicable to other. I will also be using images for easy understanding.

Here is the leather i am using for the work

This leather is the same color with the old seat cover.
To get started i first of all loose the seat separate from the back side.

Done loosing it

After loosing it i make use of chalk and sewing tape to take the measurement of each joining on the seat, both the horizontal and vertical length and then write it down on the seat. I make use of the that is still neat

After taking the measurement,i then spread my new leather why u make out those measurement on it.

I then cut it out using scissors and i make sure i follow the line draw on the new leather

After cutting each if them out, to proceed i then place the cut material on the old seat and then trace the pattern out has it is on the old seat. After that, i then place the pattern in a form and the gum it together.

Using upholstery gum to join them together

Then i use scissors to cut them out carefully.

I then make use of my sewing machine to join those pattern together carefully.

After join those pattern together i now get my new seat covers.

After doning sewing the new seat cover i then cover it to the old seat and here are the outcome of it

After everything i then tight the seat back and i finally achieve this

I make use of the same steps to achieve others and that is the end if the project for this week.
