Feliz y bendecido inicio de semana amigos de @needlewormonday, deseándoles mucha felicidad y lindos proyectos que nos llenen el corazón de alegría por lo que hacemos con tanto cariño. Ayer terminaron mis vacaciones y hoy me encuentro nuevamente en la oficina luego de unos días en Caripe disfrutando de un clima sabroso y llenándome de esa paz que solo este lindo pueblo me da, para renovar energía y regresar con toda la buena vibra.
Y como estaba de vacaciones no he realizado proyectos de costura recientes, pero en mi galería me encontré con un conjunto muy bonito que le hice a mi hija para su cumpleaños (fue en mayo) y que no sé porqué razón no lo había compartido jajaja. Acostumbro como cada año realizarle su outfit a lucir ese día.

Yesterday my vacation ended and today I am back in the office after a few days in Caripe enjoying a tasty weather and filling me with that peace that only this beautiful town gives me, to renew energy and return with all the good vibes.
And since I was on vacation I haven't made any recent sewing projects, but in my gallery I found a very nice outfit I made for my daughter for her birthday (it was in May) and I don't know why I hadn't shared it hahaha. Like every year I make her outfit to wear that day.
Es un conjunto de short y crop top en tela Beverly color coral. Corté, he inicie primero el trabajo con el short, el cual en la parte delantera de cada pierna lleva una fina costura en el centro y por la parte derecha de la tela. una vez realizada la costura en cada pieza pase a unir por el tiro delantero y de igual manera por el tiro trasero.
It is a set of shorts and crop top in coral color Beverly fabric. I cut and started working first with the shorts, which in the front part of each leg has a thin seam in the center and on the right side of the fabric. Once the seam was made in each piece, I joined the front and back seams.
Luego uní por la entrepierna, pasé costura por los costados y coloqué la pretina con colocando un poco de elástico para mejor facilidad al colocar la prenda.
Then I joined at the crotch, sewed the sides and placed the waistband with a little elastic to make it easier to put the garment on.
La blusa o crop top es un modelo asimétrico muy lindo. Para cortar primero dibuje en la tela la simetría y luego corté. En total son dos piezas una delantera y una trasera de igual diseño. Para iniciar costura primero hice una orilla en uno de los lados de la sisa de manga tanto en la pieza delantera como trasera, pero del mismo lado (izquierda o derecha).
The blouse or crop top is a very nice asymmetrical model. To cut it I first drew the symmetry on the fabric and then I cut it. In total there are two pieces, one in the front and one in the back with the same design. To start sewing I first made an edge on one side of the sleeve armhole on both the front and back pieces, but on the same side (left or right).
Luego cosí una pieza doble de unos 4 cm en la otra siza de manga no trabajada pasando por el pecho y la lleve hasta la pieza trasera de la blusa, terminando la costura en la siza de manga trasera sin trabajar. Luego cosí por los laterales o costados he hice el ruedo.

Completando así un conjunto juvenil muy lindo, ideal para estos climas tropicales, que en las chicas luce super bien.

El short no tiene gran complicación y el crop top tampoco, más hay que tener clara la medida de la pieza que como se ve en las fotos pasa por uno de los hombros para que quede al cuerpo y no se mueva pero que tampoco quede muy ajustado y moleste. por supuesto la tela se prestó mucho por su elasticidad ya que con tela rígida no quedaría tan bien. A mi hija le encantó, lo vió una noche antes cuando estaba buscando que ponerse en su cumple y se lo entregue, ella no sabía que se lo estaba haciendo. Estas son las momentos maravillosos que nos regalan las agujas, saludos amigos y nos seguimos leyendo.

My daughter loved it, she saw it the night before when she was looking for something to wear for her birthday and I gave it to her, she didn't know I was making it for her.
