My sewing machine had been damaged by the weather, then when I could I took it to be fixed, it was very well with a warranty time of 30 days, but in less than 5 days it had been damaged, I took it back and it was the engine, this time the same man fixed it, and thank God it was perfect, I am glad to have my machine and it is my livelihood.
I spent about $30 on the two repairs, but it was a necessary expense that I had to make.
To make and make a garment, such as a short, which this time I did, in a drill fabric, in a camouflage design. I have seen this design in flannel fabrics as well as in rigid fabrics, as in this case, flannels, chores, bags, among others, there are so many fabrics with this design, that nowadays it varies a little in the colors, it is no longer green or brown, but also combined, in pink, in black among others.
For the making of this short the fabric is dark green, I also made one that has pink, two colors in different colors, but with the same design and model.
To make this beautiful short size “L” which I made by placing a cord or ribbon at the waist. The variety of design and its model, makes that it can be combined with any style of flannel or a simple sleeveless blouse, in short, ideal to go for a walk or to be daily, with something very comfortable, but at the same time that makes you dress well.

Mi máquina de coser se había dañado lo del tiempo, luego cuando pude la lleve para que la arreglaran, quedó muy bien con un tiempo de garantía de 30 días, pero en menos de 5 días se había dañado, la volví a llevar y era el motor, esta vez el mismo señor la arreglo, y gracias a Dios que quedo perfecta, me alegro de tener mi máquina y que es mi sustento.
Gasté como 30$ en los dos arreglos, pero Fué un gasto necesario que tuve que hacer.
Hacer y confeccionar una prenda de vestir, como un short, que en esta oportunidad hice, en una tela de drill, en diseño de camuflaje. Este diseño lo he visto tanto en telas de franelas como en telas rígidas, como en este caso, las franelas, chores, bolsos, entre otras, hay tantas cosas de tela con este diseño, que hoy en día varía un poco en los colores, ya no es verde o marrón, sino también combinados, en rosado, en negro entre otros.
Para la confección de este short la tela es de color verde oscuro, también hice uno que tiene rosado, dos chores en distintos colores, pero con el mismo diseño y modelo.
Para elaborar este bello short talla “L” el cual hice colocando un cordón o cinta en la cintura. La variedad de diseño y su modelo, hace que se pueda combinar con cualquier estilo de franela o una simple blusa sin mangas, en fin, ideal para ir de paseo o bien estar de diario, con algo muy cómodo, pero al mismo tiempo que hace vestir bien.

Este short lo hice para una amiga quien quería ir a un compartir, y tenía que ser muy casual, y ella se los puso con sus zapatos deportivos, lo cual se Fué a disfrutar su día.
Cortando cada pieza dos partes delanteras, y dos bolsillos delanteros.
Para la parte de atrás, dos partes, y dos bolsillos, también una tira para la pretina.
I start by making and sewing the front pockets, one on each side, in a black lining fabric that goes on the inside.
After cutting out the back pockets and sewing their edges, I glue them to the back, to assemble the pockets on each side.
Empiezo haciendo y cosiendo los bolsillos de la parte del frente uno a cada lado, en una tela de forro que va por dentro de color negro.
Luego de cortar los bolsillos traseros y coser su borde, los pego a la parte trasera, para ir armando los bolsillos en cada parte.
Then I'm going to join each of the parts in the front and back.
Then I will sew these parts together and sew the sides and the crotch.
Luego voy uniendo cada una de las partes por el tiro en la parte del frente y trasera.
Así voy a coser estas partes y le paso costura tanto de los lados y por la entrepierna.
I put another lining fabric on the inside of the waistband, then I measure the fabric on the outside where I am going to sew the eyelets, which are two on the front, where the drawstring will go through, which will give it fit.
I also place the elastic that will go only on the back.
La pretina le puse por la parte que va dentro otra tela de forro, luego la tela que va por fuera mido donde voy a coser los ojales, que son dos que van en la parte del frente, por donde pasará el Cordón, que le dará ajuste.
También le coloco la elástica que irá solamente en la parte trasera.
As I said at the beginning there were two chores that I made the same, here are the photos of the same process, although when I finished the pink one I didn't take the photo, hehe I said I would take it later but then the neighbor came to measure it and took it away at once, so I missed the photo of its presentation. Although I also tell you that I have made other garments which I have delivered and although I took pictures of the whole process I did not take pictures of its completion.
Cómo les dije al principio fueron dos chores que hice iguales, aquí las fotos del mismo proceso, aunque al terminar el de color que tiene rosado no le tomé la foto, jeje dije luego se la tomo pero después vino la vecina a medírselo y se lo llevo de una vez, así que me faltó la foto de su presentación. Aunque también les digo que he hecho otras prendas de vestir el cual he entregado y a pesar de tomar las fotos de todo el proceso no le tomé fotos de su culminación.
