Así le hice un vestido a mi Virgen del Valle
Saludos y bendiciones queridos amigos de @needleworkmonday, para mí es un gusto visitarlos cada lunes para contarles de mis creaciones, en esta oportunidad se trata de algo muy especial como lo es el vestido que le hice a mi virgencita del Valle.
Cada 8 de septiembre se celebra su Natividad y es costumbre para nosotros como familia salir en este día a ver las virgencitas que sacan a la calle para que todas las admiremos y celebremos su día especial, así lo estuvimos haciendo ayer un día muy bonito que luego les estaré contando. Pero el día de hoy les quiero mostrar cómo estuve haciendo el vestido para mi virgencita como ya les dije.
Días atrás le había hecho un vestido a una amiga que me lo mandó hacer que justo le quería mostrar hoy, pero como ella se lo llevó a otra ciudad en la que no tiene señal no me ha enviado las fotos, así que se los estaremos mostrando en la otra oportunidad.
Y como yo también tengo una virgencita bien pequeñita a la que tenía varios años que no le hacía su vestido, esta vez me animé y le hice uno bien bonito, estuve revisando mis telas y me gustaron estas que les muestro una tela de raso amarillo, otra tela blanca tipo malla para la capa y el tull amarillo para el velo.
Fue algo muy sencillo y rápido, le tomé las medidas a la virgencita y corté especie de un triángulo para hacer su vestido y luego también corté la capa, un poquito más pequeña, para que me alcanzara esa tira decorada que tenía solo un trozo del vestido anterior que había hecho.
Como les digo fue muy fácil armarlo, luego le coloqué unas flores en forma de cruz y unas pelotitas en la parte de las manos y en la parte de la corona. También estuve decorando una cajita de remedio para hacerle una base, quedó muy linda.
Esta es una tradición religiosa muy bonita que vivimos por aquí en el Oriente del país Venezuela y a mí con mi familia nos gusta vivir esta bonita experiencia y así agradecer a la virgen, protegernos y cubrimos con su manto.
A ella le pido bendiciones para todos ustedes y para nosotros. Bueno, eso lo digo desde mi fe, me gusta bendecir a la gente y con esto sentir que les va bien a todos.
Bueno, amigos, esto ha sido todo por hoy, espero que les haya gustado tanto como a mí este lindo vestido que le hice a la Virgen del Valle en versión miniatura. Por cierto, a la iglesia que fuimos hubo varias personas que les gustó la virgencita por lo pequeño que era.

Every September 8 is celebrated her Nativity and it is customary for us as a family to go out on this day to see the little virgins that are taken to the street for all of us to admire and celebrate their special day, so we were doing yesterday a very nice day that I will be telling you later. But today I want to show you how I was making the dress for my little virgin as I told you.
A few days ago I had made a dress for a friend who sent it to me that I just wanted to show you today, but as she took it to another city where she has no signal she has not sent me the pictures, so we will be showing them to you in another opportunity.
And since I also have a very tiny little virgin that I had not made her dress for several years, this time I decided to make her a nice one, I was checking my fabrics and I liked these that I show you, a yellow satin fabric, another white mesh fabric for the cape and the yellow tulle for the veil.
It was something very simple and quick, I took the measurements of the little virgin and cut a kind of triangle to make her dress and then I also cut the cape, a little smaller, so that I could reach that decorated strip that had only a piece of the previous dress I had made.
As I said it was very easy to put it together, then I put some flowers in the shape of a cross and some little balls in the part of the hands and in the part of the crown. I also decorated a little medicine box to make a base, it was very pretty.
This is a very nice religious tradition that we live here in the east of Venezuela and my family and I like to live this beautiful experience and thank the virgin, protect us and cover us with her mantle.
