Hasn't it happened to you that you start a sewing project and end up doing another one, this was my case yesterday.
I have always liked sewing, and if my time would allow me I would dedicate much more time to it, this motivates me, especially because I was given several pieces of fabric, a great reason to be happy, I feel that I have advanced a lot in this art, however, I have not made a sport crop top.
Seeing some designs with patterns in a magazine, which was given to my daughter, I felt encouraged, I thought it would be super easy, I liked it and chose to make one of the designs with more pieces to cut, nothing easy for an apprentice, but I like the complex, because when I see the result I know I can go further in my goals.
In spite of proposing myself the challenge, in the middle of the afternoon I decided to leave it for another day, because I cut some wrong pieces from another pattern and at the time of joining the pieces did not match, after about 2 hours, I did not want to let the day pass without having managed to create a garment, and I encouraged myself to continue cutting, but I decided to make another design that I really liked, and I got hands on the scissors and to cut, it is another crop top, straight cut with straps, a casual and sexy design to go out for a walk.
I love the color white, and having it in a garment is always important to combine any outfit.

No les ha pasado que empiezan un proyecto de costura y terminan haciendo otro, este fue mi caso el día de ayer.
Siempre me ha gustado la costura, y si mi tiempo me lo permitiera le dedicaría mucho más, esto me motiva, sobre todo porque me regalaron varios trozos de tela, un gran motivo para estar feliz, siento que he avanzado mucho en este arte, sin embargo, no he hecho un crop top deportivo.
Viendo unos diseños con patrones en una revista, que le regalaron a mi hija, me sentí animada, pensé que sería superfácil, me gusto y elegí para hacer uno de los diseños con más piezas que cortar, nada fácil para una aprendiz, pero me gusta lo complejo, porque al ver el resultado sé que puedo ir más lejos en mis objetivos.
A pesar de proponerme el reto, a media tarde decidí dejarlo para otro día, debido a que corte unas piezas equivocadas de otro patrón y al momento de unir las piezas no coincidían, después de unas 2 horas, no quise dejar que pasara el día sin haber logrado crear una prenda, y me volví animar a seguir cortando, pero decidí hacer otro diseño que me gusto mucho, y me puse manos en la tijera y a cortar, se trata de otro crop top, de corte recto con tirantes, un diseño casual y sexy para salir a pasear.
El color blanco me encanta, y tenerlo en una prenda de vestir siempre es importante para combinar cualquier outfit.

Así empecé el día haciendo mi primer trabajo de crop top deportivo, una tela azul muy linda y suave, un patrón guía para hacer un trabajo perfecto.
Unos ánimos increíbles, pero finalmente termine abandonando este proyecto, porque en ese momento no logre entender la unión de las piezas, debido a que me confundí de patrón y corte piezas equivocadas, así que debo estudiar mejor cada patrón para continuar mi trabajo en otro momento y mostrárselo en otra ocasión.

To start making a new crop top, I needed to cut several ribbons of white peach skin fabric, to measures that favored the design, at first I had thought to make it horizontal lines, and after sewing it I presented it to my sight, I turned it, at that moment I noticed that if I placed it vertically it would be a more striking and more stylized design, so I decided to do it vertically.
After sewing the front and back piece, I folded it in half to cut the armhole line.
The width of each vertical strip to form the piece, will depend on the preference and size, in my case size M, so I chose a width of 6 cm and the ribbon that is centered I cut it 8 cm.
I really like this cut vertically, because the body is more stylized, and for the size S can choose both horizontal and vertical forms as it would not affect them, I favor the vertical lines.
Para comenzar a confeccionar un nuevo crop top, necesite cortar varias cintas de tela piel de durazno de color blanco, a unas medidas que favorecieran el diseño, al principio había pensado hacerlo de líneas horizontales, y después de coserlo lo presente a mi vista, lo gire, en ese momento note que si lo colocaba de forma vertical sería un diseño más llamativo y más estilizado, así que decidí hacerlo en modo vertical.
Después de coser la pieza delantera y trasera, la doble por la mitad, para cortar la línea de la sisa.
El ancho de cada tira vertical para formar la pieza, va a depender de la preferencia y talla, en mi caso talla M, así que elegí un ancho de 6 cm y la cinta que va centrada la corte de 8 cm.
Me gusta mucho este corte en sentido vertical, porque el cuerpo se nota más estilizado, y para las de talla S pueden elegir ambas formas tanto horizontales como la vertical igual no les afectaría, a mí me favorece las líneas verticales.

Estas piezas las uni de lados derechos y cosí por el lado revés, le di la vuelta para luego unirlas de forma revés, con revés, así quedaría un lado derecho interno y un lado externo.

El esultado de las costuras me parecio impecable, quede feliz despues de toda la dedicacion en este trabajo.
Pero no pude solo dejarla asi, me parecia que se notaba simple sin un detalle mas, y como adoro las flores pense en hacer una con los retazos sobrantes.

This is where I finish my publication, about the design and making of my crop top with vertical ribbons, leaving pending for the completion of the sports crop top, which I left as my mom says “stunned” hahahaha.

Empecé hacer la flor, lo primero que hice fue dibujar 1 pétalo en cartón, luego marque con lápiz sobre la tela, recorte y cosí en la máquina, dejando la abertura en la base de los pétalos, para voltear.
Cosidos los 5 pétalos, y con la ayuda de la punta de la tijera los voltea al derecho, enseguida enhebre una aguja con hilo blanco y comencé a unir los pétalos con puntos de fundidos, después recorte el excedente de tela de cada pétalo, para que no quedasen tan largos, asi forme la flor.
Esta flor la cosí con un broche dorado en el lado izquierdo del crop top al nivel del tirante, quedando un diseño además de elegante, muy atractivo a la vista.
Es aquí donde culmino mi publicación, sobre el diseño y confección de mi crop top de cintas verticales, quedando pendiente por la culminación del crop top deportivo, que deje como dice mi mamá "pasmada" jajajaja.
