MWM|| Lili the kitty, a Rag Doll for myself

Greetings my dear people of NeedleworkMonday. Happy and blessed weekend to all. Today I am very happy and excited to share with you the final result of my most recent project. This is the cute kitty Lili, which I started last week, but due to other commitments I had not been able to finish.

In my last community post, I told you that I was working on a new project that I was very excited about. I also proposed a dynamic to see who could guess what my new project was about. In the post I left some options for you to choose from and try to guess. The person who guessed right was my dear monica since she selected the option of the kitten and it is precisely what is more related to the project. This cute rag doll style kitty, is a design I had seen a long time ago on Pinterest and since then I had really wanted to knit it, but I had had the opportunity. After a lot of searching, I was finally able to find the pattern, so I started knitting with much excitement. The pattern is extremely simple, as this design is quite simple, but cute and delicate at the same time.

I'm a big fan of rag dolls, that's why I love this kind of designs. I usually make this kind of dolls for my nieces and nephews, but this time I made this doll for my inner child. Last Sunday was my birthday and it seemed appropriate to give myself a gift that will remind me that it is important to embrace and pamper our inner child. I really had a great time knitting this doll and I am very happy with the final result.
