Greetings my dear needleworkers. I hope you are having a beautiful and blessed week, full of health and lots of creativity. I'm glad to be here again to share with you my latest crochet project.
On Monday it was not possible for me to complete this project, so I was absent from our Needlepoint Monday. However, today I took a few hours to finish it and share the final result with you. This is a water thermos cover that I made with love for one of my nieces who will soon start her new school year.
This is a project that I usually do every year around this time. In my country it is very common for children to take their water bottle to school to stay hydrated during the school day. The weather is very hot and it is necessary for children to bring their own water bottle. That is why I always make knitted covers for my nieces, so they can carry their thermos more comfortably.
This time I worked with a combination of earth tones. I would have liked to choose a palette of pink tones, but these colors were the ones I had available, so I combined them as best as possible. I really liked the result although it looks a bit serious for a 10 year old girl, but I think it will still work well for her.
It was a simple project and very easy to make, I hope soon to be able to acquire new yarns in beautiful colors to continue making this type of covers to give as gifts and maybe sell. For now I say goodbye until the next publication. Thanks for reading, greetings and blessings.
