El día de hoy les comparto unos lindos girasoles que estuve tejiendo anoche mientras escuchaba un audiolibro muy interesante.
Happy and blessed Friday afternoon dear NeedleWorkMonday friends. It's the start of a new weekend, which means I'll have a little more time to spend on my knitted projects which is great because there are lots of little projects on my new wish list.
Today I'm sharing with you some cute sunflowers I was knitting last night while listening to a very interesting audiobook.
Sunflowers are my favorite flowers, without a doubt, although I don't know how to explain very well why I like them so much. They simply captivated me from the first time I saw them when I was a teenager, since then, sunflowers have been part of my life. I love their bright and cheerful yellow color, I love that they are big and that they are always facing the sun.
La base marrón se forma con dos vueltas de puntos altos. La primera vuelta es de 16 puntos altos en un anillo mágico y la segunda vuelta, es una vuelta de aumentos para obtener 32 puntos altos.
Since I have been knitting, I have knitted many sunflowers in different shapes, sizes and patterns. However this pattern I hadn't tried because I didn't know it, but I was pleasantly surprised at how simple it is to knit and how beautiful the sunflowers look.
The brown base is formed with two rounds of double crochet. The first round is 16 double crochet in a magic ring and the second round is a round of increases to get 32 double crochet stitches.
The yellow petals are also made with only two rows. The first row is a "V" stitch of 2 double crochet stitches separated by 5 chains. The second row knits fans of 7 double crochet stitches with a picot stitch in the center. These fans are knitted in the chains formed in the previous row. So with only 4 rows we already have a beautiful sunflower.
Como siempre, yo feliz de poder tejer y de poder compartir mis proyectos con ustedes. Me despido hasta un próximo post. Saludos y Bendiciones.
These sunflowers will serve the function of coasters and are to take them to my sister's office with whom I am currently working. I decided to knit these coasters with a sunflower design because I have previously knitted small tablecloths for her vases also in a sunflower design, as my sister also loves sunflowers.
As always, I am happy to be able to knit and to be able to share my projects with you. I bid you farewell until a future post. Greetings and Blessings.
